I kinda wish the wind did affect Link's arrows, coz then you could have Worms-like trick shots.
The arrows are cool, but they could have down a lot more with them. The wind definitely should have affected them. I also wish fire turned arrows into fire arrows
@@peppinoandweskerfriendsfor3450 actually, while at first I thought it would make sense if the wind did affect them, I thought about it and it makes sense that it is not affected by wind. Because it is travelling only in the directions of arrow travel, the arrow wouldn't be affected as much, as they are designed to travel and be streamlined. However wind blowing perpendicular to the arrow can move it left/right but because we don't get that, we would need vertical winds to affect the arrow. :)

Myths:
Link can kill the Angry Sun with a bomb.
Link weighs more when he has his bow out.
Link's bombs disappear when he touches the moon.

It blocked one of Galeem's light blasts, which disintegrate everything they touch, but it doesn't block an attack that just hurts you once (doesn't even kill you)? That is one picky shield.

@@d.m.9304 You could do it as the first jump in a don't touch the ground level.... Do flat ground, spike, and then the slope with some other enemy at the top of the slope to jump towards.
1:45 this (and several other myths in this video actually) is actually an example of an interesting mechanic in mm2 (and I think mm1) that I was planning to make a level out of at some point. For example, if you tried the same exact thing with a fire flower, (and you might have to shoot fire balls), you would actually face the other way. I still don't know all the details but I think the list of power ups you can turn around with is:
Fire flower, superball flower, tanuki suit, cape feather, car suit, builder suit. And with link you can do the opposite (basically what you did at 2:55 but in the air). I'm pretty sure the mechanic exists so that for example with the fire flower, you can shoot behind you, but in ghost houses that might mess you up so the default is that you face the same way

I was honestly not expecting Link to gain weight from the bombs, considering other myths. You learn something new everyday, I guess
Most of this stuff is just filler to reach the 10 minute mark. We don’t need something to be demonstrated four times to know if it works. Of course arrows don’t collide in the air, literally no projectile works that way. If the wind doesn’t affect arrows shot at one angle, then they sure as hell won’t be affected at any other angle.

Link is a master marksman. It's not that the arrows aren't affected by the wind. It's that he's can perfectly adjust to the wind speed.
Maybe you have covered this, but, Links Ground Pound kills Bowser significantly faster than any other method, save for dropping him in a pit or P-Switch block killing him.
So faster than arrows, bombs, or sword slashes.
Smashy an interesting glitch occurs mostly in 3d world gamestlye. If an enemy is mostly offscreen when you grab the flagpole, it doesn't die like it normally would

Probably the reason you fall farther when you're not pressing anything in low gravity is just like in f-zero GX where if you have your engine on after shift boosting it will slow down your car because it wants to return to that speed instead of just coasting

You should have tested the shield crushing by having 2 Links with shields up being pushed by a block towards enemy, so enemy can't push them away.

Adding converging launchers on conveyors or tracks may prevent link from being pushed back while trying to squish enemies... tho not sure if that changes the definition of "squishing" with shields.

Smashy, this isnt much of a glitch but if you didnt know about this, you can do a backwards triple flip!! if you ground pound at a specific spot on a slope,(the slope has to be going up, left or up, right I chose luigi, and he even has an animation for it!!)have to ground pound, facing either way the slope is facing(left or right) this also has to be in the NSMBU engine make lots of just flat ground, do a ground pound, start trying to do a flip, and if you get the timing right you will get a backwards triple flip!
A slope always goes up, face towards it when at the bottom.
