I'm trying to write a final about a theoretical approach in archaeology but it's so difficult to find a subject that I can understand

@edge theoretical archaeological approaches can be difficult when first trying to understand. Have you tried Material Culture as a concept? To simplify this theoretical approach, Material Culture advocates that objects have lives of their own with many stories to tell, as their use and meaning change over time. It is a fascinating subject once you get reading. The following video explains the concept and provides information regarding publications if you were interested.

the best specimen for archaeology by russian enthusiasts with chinese listeners in the soviet era, is the pyramids in egypt... soviet-russians searched the surrounding deserts outside egypt to find clue how tall and big the people from the africa continent who built the pyramids... soviet era then disintegrated so never heard anymore the exact height and body volume of the african builders... soviet russians and chinese enthusiasts dont use the holy bible stories as guide... they use the very pyramids for their enthusiasm...

burying important extraordinary humans in chosen lands is for future generations to prove their existence their beginning... because qin shi huang di had headaches with scholars and storytellers... qin shi huang want things simple... one law one currency one writing... he said scholars and storytellers tell a million things... qin shi huang is strictly secular, punish according to crime... too strict that it is regarded by the masses as "tyranny"... qin shi huang commemmorate only the ancestors... and his military... all succeeding strong dynasties followed suit, choosing good feng shui lands... for their tombs... you are right... make archaeology in simple manner to learn...

Its funny to me that the main critics's initials can be ordered to spell MFS (Morgan Flannery Salmon)

Thank you so much for the video, it helped a lot!
Could you next make one about the different Archaeological dating methods? (like Carbon 14, dendrochronology, K-Ar dating...). Thank you!!!

Thank you very much. I enjoyed your group discussion on Approaching Colonialism & Archaeology.
Complex subjects that need highlighting more.
Once I have done a few more videos on the progression of Archaeology in the West, I am looking to make some on how the discipline evolved in other areas.
Also, how archaeology is used politically and the repatriation of heritage was my Uni dissertation, so I guess I should make a video.

@@simplearchaeology1242 Thank you. I am pleasantly surprised by all the positive feedback. These are subjects that the West needs to highlight more often. I look forward to your videos on the topic.

@@BehindtheTrowel Ya taking these issues on are good to clear out cognitive bias which is the major obstacle to the search truth and peace.
