- An immense shame that such an important and awesome mod got cancelled, but I can honestly totally understand it! I'm still more than happy playing through what was finished, especially since it's still... REALLY damn good. I didn't even know so much is going to be changed in the next update, so many awesome songs too, it's genuinely crazy how much potential this update had!! I loooved all the new sprites for the main 3 songs, same with the backgrounds, they look SO damn good and are really fun to watch, even if some animations and events are a bit broken or just completely missing, it's still super fun replaying through them! Playing the official Encore for Too Slow was super fun too, real shame some of the other songs don't have their Encore versions, but honestly I'm a bit glad! I can't imagine the torture I would've had to go through to FC Triple Trouble Encore LMAO. Oh, also I should probably mention that I did cheat a little bit by decreasing the note speed for Too Fest a tiny amount, it's still pretty fast, but MAN I just couldn't read it at all on the default one, especially with all that stuff happening while you're playing hehe. LOVED all the new extra stuff, both for some of the old ones and completely new songs as well! I think my favorite one would definitely be the Prey songs, they're just such an insanely creepy concept and it was executed REALLY damn well, gives me the creeps thinking of that 2nd song! The new Tails Doll song was SUPER cool too, even if, I'm guessing it's not finished! Then there's the totally new Milk, the absolutely amazing Needlemouse song and the Coldsteel song!! All of which were a blast to play through and just SO damn enjoyable 'till the very end, had a blast playing through this mod and I'll definitely remember it for a very long time, it means a lot to a ton of people in the community! Hope you guys enjoy!

This channel consists of videos about modifications to a rhythmic video game (some of which I personally worked on) that range from slightly difficult to very hard for most players. Four arrows fly towards the screen forcing you to press them at the right time to the music. Hitting all the arrows in a song counts as a "Full Combo", which is very hard to do and takes a lot of time and practice to be able to do consistently and is the main gimmick of my channel, which I showcase in each video. I also include secrets and extra content that might’ve been undiscovered and show them off through instructional and entertaining ways that can be used as guides, as well as occasionally adding my own input on things happening in the video, all done through my creative editing style that focuses on being concise and transformative. In the descriptions I give my in-depth opinion on the video game as well as timestamps for each part of the video. Out of all the mods I've played since late 2020, this one's probably my favorite until vs imposter v4(estimated 50+ songs). It's sad so much effort and passion went to waste because of all the chaos going on behind the scenes. The mod developers deserve a break from all of this, and if anybody who made the mod sees this, your passion, and effort to make a such a beautiful mod is what got me so invested to this game, thank you all!
what do you mean late 2020. The VS Sonic.exe mod came out in august 2021.

I'm happy for this honestly. I haven't been following anything on the update itself but hearin' n' seein' all the fake leaks appear on my recommendation on TH-cam kinda got to me. It seemed like everyone was impatient, and that may've been one of the biggest stresses with the team I feel. At least they got a breather now.

Sonic.exe getting cancelled is probably for the best so the devs can finally rest and i honestly never knew what to really expect from this update, well at least the second update is still there and i think the 3rd wasn't needed anyway, sonic.exe is still one of the best mods even without that update
I guess it was to be expected that this would happen, after many months of controversy, they finally said "enough", but honestly I don't feel sad, on the contrary, I feel happy for them, I can't imagine all the stress and negative tension that had to happen for so long, I will consider this as his last gift to those of us who love and appreciate Sonic.Exe, I am eternally grateful for giving us incredible moments with the famous Sonic.exe creepypasta, I will never forget him, and now to rest, my motto is: "Stay with the good things and stay away from the bad"💙
No one really liked him tho. Everyone just keeps making better versions of him (example lord x) so he's more of a known character than a loved character. But still I get the point.

Big Ross For short, Sonic.EXE’s creator gets cancelled from the creepypasta, then a character from the mod, EXE (Their song is Faker in V2.0) gets cancelled because of what their owner Revie did, and then the mod gets cancelled because of some things that happened

Honestly I hope some of the team may come back and finish off the project some day, but in all honesty I can’t say I blame them at all for this choice. Remember folks, this is what happens to mods when you keep leaking/supporting said leaks of them, all of these mods are made with little more than enjoyment in mind so taking the wind out of they’re sails can sink the whole thing.

Honestly kinda expected this to happen as soon as reive got outed as a groomer. Whenever a artist/creator on the team is outed for awful shit, the project falling apart is pretty common, as seen with TGT too.
Sucks, because just like that mod, it probably has the best FNF tracks that I can think of.

Honestly, seeing the countless teaser songs and character trailers and then only getting TS encore, Roundabout, Personel, and the new Milk, maybe it was for the best. I think the devs could only handle so much

anyone else feel like the characters became a bit to cartonny? idk the old versions had a bit more of an edge to them making them creepy and such, yet i do feel sad tho that they had to cancel the mod due to drama, i really liked the mod despite never playing or watching sonic.exe, hope this mod does get picked up again by a new team with people who wont cause stress and such to themselves and the others
edit note: that red eggman tho is really freaky tho and actually used the more cartoony style to its advantage

Prey and Fight or Flight are my favorites, due to them being tied together.
Plus the sprite for eggman in the second part is actually low-key eerie.

From what I can tell, the number of total Rings available in Triple Trouble got increased. I also counted how many Rings are awarded from each character: Tails gives 19 Rings, Knuckles gives 25 Rings, and Robotnik gives 34 Rings. Interesting that Tails gives the least, and Robotnik gives the most.
Sounds like the amounts fron each character was reversed from v2. Guess it does make sense to give more rings in the harder parts, but not as much in terms of the characters themselves. Maybe Eggman is giving you so many rings because he wants you to beat Sonic?

From what I know, at one point or another, it had been stated by someone who worked on the mod that Soul Robotnik laughs during his segment because he realises that Xenophanes (the form Sonic.EXE has taken in Triple Trouble) is struggling to defeat Boyfriend, and finds that amusing. Since he's also allegedly the smartest of the Souls, it's likely he reasons that Boyfriend has a very real chance at actually defeating Xenophanes, and so that could be why Soul Robotnik's part has so many Rings.
When I saw this on Twitter it was heartbreaking it almost made me cry literally Sonic.exe creators really work hard on these mods of Sonic exe

Thing is, the first version of the update had Fatality in it. It then got updated to remove Fatality for some reason. However, Fatality’s still part of an early leaked build so you could play that.
@@Charizardslash Fatality was removed because AnarackWarriorsStudios AKA, Fatal Error's owner wanted Fatal Error to be removed from the mod, please do NOT harras AnarackWarriorsStudios for getting Fatal Error out of the build. Also, i have that old leaked build on my PC, but i don't feel like giving the link due to it being a leaked build that wasn't meant to be released to the public

This will go down as one of the best mods EVER in fnf history, it was going so well until 3.0. A bunch of controversy,leaks,rumors, ect. Its sad tbh but at least we have a fragment of 3.0. Rest in peace sonic.exe 3.0, you will be missed with divide.

Dude at first… I thought fnf’s community would get stronger as it went on… but all it did was make stronger connections to something… then… take it away… it’s strange… and you’d think people would learn by now that stressing these big creators would make it come out faster or better? It is somewhat sad that the fnf community is like this with its creators, it is as if this community had a curse that this happens to popular mods, it is only a wild community... but still the same Destination of this was already implemented
It's not just the FNF Community. It's the entire gaming community as a whole. We've become too impatient and spoiled, not to mention that everyone has access to tools to get leaks. We've been doing this to EA, Acti-Blizz, Bungie (since Destiny) and many others. It's unfortunate this happened. There are more good apples than bad, however it just takes a few bad apples out of the bunch to ruin the entire batch.
It's a shame a mod like this had to go away :(

despite the cancellation, this is still really cool, i especially love fight or flight and the new too fest, its nice knowing the developers of this mod can now rest easy, in a sense
HEY, WAIT A SECOND, THAT IS NOT OG ENDLESS
The good news is this should teach people not to leak mods. And with Imposter V4, I think there will be *too many* songs to leak before release. Granted some will be leaked (or teased by the creators) but since there are around 50+ Songs in the mod, yeah there’s no worry about the mod being cancelled because of song leaks and stuff like that. No need to worry!
There was an impostor leak around december I think, but it doesn't even matter because the devs said everything that was leaked (Double Kill, monster form Black, etc.) has been changed since then. Plus it comes out sometime next month, so there isn't much time for stuff to get leaked anyway

I really love the new additions they added to the Sonic.exe mod, from the new songs, art, etc. It's a shame that it's canceled for whatever reason. If anyone could explain the reasoning why I would appreciate it.

Nice video man! Again, I'm fine with you tweaking the difficulty as long as it's known publicly. I don't think my PC can handle this mod lol, it's major laggy and some stuff doesn't appear (Sonic's final part in Triple Trouble after Eggman and Super BF just being a default square).
I don't know about the super bf thing, but stuff like Sonic's last part, the "I am god" animation, the Tails Doll dark bit, etc. Seem to just not work properly because they were unfinished
I'm guessing chaos gimmicks weren't finished because I heard it supposed to have more lasers to dodge.
The creators said that they didnt add more lasers cuz they crashed the game somehow

I saw this coming from a mile away, to be honest. I'm not suprised the team cancelled the mod with the amount of development limbo it was going through.
On the bright side, we still got an absolutely AMAZING final update, unfinished as it is. Who knew that an old creepypasta about Sonic the Hedgehog would become the basis for one of the most influential FNF mods out there?

Not just the fact this got canceled is sad but how it did, it shows it can happen to any mod, one thing goes wrong and it’s over for a whole mod if the rest of the team decides to leabe

I may have not agreed with all the changes that this mod have put on itself but I can appreciate its legacy and impact on future fnf mods after it and how many mods where inspired by this .exe conglomerate
Encore is like a final boss imo. The references to the music of what was there and what took it's place. Wish the art they used for Tails in this background would appear in triple trouble. 14:28
my hope is that the fans pick this up, and continue development. it's not likely, but I wish.
On a more hopeful note, someone is trying to restore this build.

They didn't fix the problems with how they represented Sonic.exe, but man, so much of this is still amazing!

The things that I mostly expected from the update were the sunky full week ,needlemouse and a new lord s*x icon and I'm glad in this cancelled build contains them
You know what…for being incomplete it feels pretty full…if a bit buggy in places like it not switching to sonic at the final part of tripple trouble but other than that this is incredible…
I was quite excited for the starved eggman segment, but I understand why it was canceled
