Hey Anudeep, good insights on how a UX designer should be in favour of both customers as well as the business. Never knew a designer needs to keep lot of factors in his/her mind while designing 😅.
I am greatful to have come across you mahn! Your UX mastery program not only helped me to get into UX process but also to helped me to realise my inner potential and to work on that. A very big salute to your energy and never ending passion for UX!
We would always want to see you coming up with many valuable insights like this!

@@aryanbohra1504 Hi Aryan, I don't have much idea on this, coz I am not from design school. But, it is not mandatory to have a design degree to get into UX design. Guidance from a good mentor and your willingness to learn would suffice.

To be fairly honest with everyone, I was never valued as a designer until I came under the mentorship of Anudeep .Under his mentorship, I learnt what 'it means to be a designer' and why the things that we solve form the basis of adding more value into this world. Its no wonder we get paid enough and more, because we are creating 'real value'.
UX Designers are not 'those people' who just sit around and make fancy screens for everyone to laud over on social media platforms. We are problem solvers, critical thinkers and user advocates that take it upon ourselves to solve the problems users face everyday. I believe Anudeep has spoken enough about why we are valued enough in his video, but I would like to share some of the learnings I have received under his mentorship so far:
    • Value can only create Value. What it means is that you are 'valued' when you create value for the company or organization that you work at. Its understanding the risks for the company and providing them with the best solutions. The best solutions always come keeping in mind the users of that product. And Anudeep has always made it certain that his mentees go for companies that value them for the value they give.
    • Always being curious and asking 'Why' at every turn of the design process allows us to look at different perspectives. Perspectives is what makes us human, what helps us empathize with our users and solve problems taking the human factor in mind.
    • Constant support and guidance has helped me reached wherever I am right now. For those who are wondering, I am only weeks away from entering this field of User Experience design, and the lessons I learnt is surely going to help me reach at a better position as a designer.
    • The world today does not look for just fancy diplomas and degrees. They are looking for skills and what you can bring to the table. Figuring out the right place to attain these skills is very important and I know Anudeep is doing a pretty good job because me and so many others like me are living examples of the same.
These are all personal realizations I had over the last 2-3 months of my journey and I thought by sharing this, it would help somebody out there like me, who is also looking for 'real value'.

Truth finally uncovered! I was fortunate to also be mentored by Anudeep who literally changed my perception of design and made sure I focused on the true value of a UX Designer. It really helped me demand a good pay and not get below it! I look back and realise how much all of the concepts that he taught me helped me score a good job!!

Hi Anudeep, I am an architect by profession and have completed my master's in construction management. I have got good control over design and managing things, but it is not how it works when it comes to execution. clearly, am not getting paid for the values which I already have, due to which I am planning to shift to a UX designer.
Watching your videos gives me an overall insight into what actually and reasonable thinking is required. I just want to know, as an Architect, and an interior product designer, how UX based designer will play a role, in terms of case studies, companies, salary based, I mean all the verticals in a generalized way, of all the opportunities that would give me further.
    Thank you in advance.

I’m very saddened that the video has given you a hint of working on dark patterns. It is a genuine attempt to make people understand how they create value as UX Designers because a lot of designers get undervalued as they don’t realise their potential.
If you watch the video, I clearly establish an example how a UX Designer is clearly responsible for guarding the experience for the benefit of users.
I sincerely request you to watch the video once again with this perspective and I hope you get the sincere message.
