Loved the post-list content especially. Duel of Ages II and Earth Reborn are games I've wanted to try for a long time, without much media content to accompany them. I'm now even more interested.
I enjoy both games. I might do a playthrough of both on my channel. They are rules heavy games and a little fiddly. Both games feel like a story was created.
Still learning to play Ker Nethalas and I've done the first dungeon. I'm really liking it. I looked into the other books you mentioned and decided to get Ker Nethalas.
Nice top 5! I'm surprised by the AI cards that you pulled out for Imperium. I've only seen them available in the Horizons version or print your own from BGG. I don't have a copy of those cards with either Legends or Classics, and I don't own Horizons. The box art for The Colonists looks odd, so I was never interested in it, but it looks interesting! Mage Knight being on the list is incredible! GI Joe looks great. I have the Transformers deck building game and it looks very similar. It feels like the more familiarity you have with a franchise/theme, the better your enjoyment of it. Great extra games. Ker Nathalas looks interesting! I feel like I've heard of that before, but looks great for solo!
I printed the AI card for Imperium. The colonist isn't the best cover. It has an old Euro game art look to it, but I really like playing it. I really have a ton of fun with GI Joe. I love both IPs, but GI Joe game feels like a a better deck building game. I also love the dice in it. I've only played the starting dungeon for Ker Nethalas and it's been fun so far.
Lost Ruins of Arnak turned out to be really fun solo, especially with the Missing Expedition expansion. I’ll be playing Dune Imperium Uprising for the first time this week so let’s see how it goes. So many great solo board games to experience.
I had to look it up. The U.S.S Flagg aircraft carrier is named after the original Joe commander General Flagg. "Raise the Flagg!" is the name of an episode from season 2 of the original cartoon.
Thanks. I've never played Too many bones, but I hear it's a great game. I almost want to get the new Elder Scrolls game by them, but not sure I want to pay that much for it.
Enjoyed your list, thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much! I have watched many of your videos and greatly enjoy them. Your channel inspired me to start a board game channel.
The playmat is not so good for presentation imo. Hard to differentiate the game components from the background.
Thanks. I thought about that too. I do like seeing old school donkey kong though.
@@LoudNBoardGaming-bl4gf Still a cool playmat though 😁
@@nboyd71 I think so. It's just fabric
I agree this was a difficult watch
@@stevemcewan2996 Thanks. Replaced the cloth with a just plain blue. Going try to figure something out for the mic.
Intro music is amazing.
@@frankly3498 yep. Probably best part of my videos
Love the playmate. Now I know what wallpaper I would buy! Hah.
@@12600Grey Thanks. It’s actually just fabric. I had once used it in classroom. It clashes a little with the game components though.
Subbed cuz you're a fellow Mage Knight enjoyer.
Thanks! Really fun to play. Kinda wish I had the ultimate version. My game is missing a some pieces.
Mage Knight and Imperium Legends 2025 - -
Yep. Hope to do a playthrough of Mage Knight sometime next year. I did a playthrough of Imperium, but will probably do another.
Gonna grab Star Trek: Captain's Chair instead.
Really good list. some I had not heard of. Will check them out.
Thanks. Some of the games are a bit older.

That's cool you have Ker Nethalas - I just picked that up. I have two other similar games called Four Against Darkness and D100 Dungeon.

I haven't played either of those games yet, but I hear they are fun.
Worldspanner Factions (reimplementation of Duel Of Ages 2) has some interesting solo mode. I haven't tried it myself yet, though.
@@paweskierczynski2085 I’ll have to look into it. Might be fun to try out
35:00 why is it called flagg? is that a typical gijoe joke?

Nice list of solo games. Top 3 are favs of mine as well. I would have added Too Many Bones to the list. And I must agree GI Joe is such a great game.
