Watching the evolution of you guys has been so sweet. It’s beautiful how two humans can love, support and respect each other so much even through the changing phases and growth you all experience. It’s possible to love someone in so many different ways and support their journeys to happiness even if it looks different from what you might have imagined. The two of you have a very, very special relationship. It warms my heart to witness such acceptance, support, and love of each other through all of the changes in the relationship dynamics. The two of you, thru this channel, have taught me so much.
Connor going on about being so happy with someone else... suddenly becoming dyadic and exclusive with that person, to the exclusion of anyone else ...when the old dynamic was all about romantic openness and sharing.. that's got to have some effect on Brittany, surely. I feel a radical acceptance coming from her ..but also some kind of sadness and self-protectiveness.
I don’t think she has much of a choice really, since their child is in between.
Seemed like Connor needs it at this point. When Bridgette showed up that's when their relationship started to fall. It was VERY obvious that Bridgette ONLY wanted Brittany and she was open about it even when trying it with Connor. Connor was the third wheel out and now he's getting married or in a place where it can be avoided. So, if Brittany doesn't like it... you sow what you reap. Bridgette was honest, and they should not had a trio that was one sided. They should not have forced Bridgette into it.
This video really does make me smile for you all! I remember in your recent update video where you all described yourselves as being “in family” together, and that’s so clear here. There is still love and trust and respect and support, even if the love manifests in a different way now. And how wonderful for Ilya to grow up surrounded by that love, and seeing how healthy communication can be so uplifting and validating! I’m so happy for you all ❤

Weird - watching this video (and I’ve been watching Conor and Brittany since they first moved into Winnie together), I felt like she was honestly fine with him marrying Flora. I can see that Brittany & Conor’s relationship has changed a LOT since those early days of doing acro in the park, but I definitely didn’t get the impression that the change felt negative for either of them.
(I’m not saying you’re wrong - I mean, I don’t know these people in real life or anything - I’m just saying I personally didn’t see anything sad or negative about how Brittany’s presenting here.)

Im sorry to point this out. Brittany does not seem 100% comfortable or confident in this, especially considerimg the way she has in the past. I dont know if she is fully on board or if she is still coming to terms with it, but she is off with this. I hope it is what you want. Dont keep silent if it isn't even if it breaks the peace.

I can't say I relate to being so unattached to a previous partner, emotionally. I also love that I feel and really mourn things deeply but I'm also really curious about this idea of supporting someone to transition into whatever they need and being GENUINELY happy / no feeling about it. For sure I can say that is not me and I am not there. All that being said, I'm so in awe that you guys are still in connection and still supporting each other and I'm so happy to see it because I love you both as a unit a lot. I'm happy to still have you making videos together discussing things. It's also so healing for me to see a man like Conor grow develop share and e so emotionally stable and grounded. I can say I know zero men in my circle who are like this and he gives me hope to find and meet other men like this and hopefully have the relationship of my dreams with him/them. I love you!!!
On the contrary I think it’s common for the emotional bond to completely leave a previous relationship as time goes on. I have 0 emotional connection to both my first love as a teenager and also 0 emotional bond/connection towards my 1st husband. (whom i have children with). For some people when it’s over it’s over.😁

I would want to hear the mud behind Brittany’s initial freeze of shut down “feeling nothing” and needing time to process towards this. Feeling “nothing” about marriage news from someone you care about does not seem like a authentic expression of the emotion this process may have evoked.

From the moment you had Ilya and bridgette came into your lives things started changing. And not just things, but you as individuals. Your wants, needs and priorities started changing. In just a few years so much has changed and yet nothing at all because you're still in each others lives and have this good relationship. Some people will say you failed in some way, but in reality you created this loving space for everyone in your family. Staying connected like that and still have so much love and respect for the each other is beautiful and I think we can all learn from that. I feel like now your channel is not so much about polyamory anymore but how to love and support yourself and the people you love no matter what happens in life. It's about resilience and staying true to yourself. There's a strenght in both of you that I really admire. You guys are awesome! I've been with my bf for nearly 2 years, and he's actually brought up this conversation before of maybe bringing in a 3rd person.
Although I didn't react the right way at first, I watched your videos, and the second conversation about it was much more productive and more understanding (from both ends). And it 100% brought us closer, which was actually really powerful, as it was the first time i was able to be open and honest with someone and he feels the same.
A lot of people would have left in my case, I know this. But I chose what I know was right for me, as I've never been this in love with someone and have the ability to have these types of conversations, while both of us just be ourselves.
However, I definitely relate more with Connor regarding commitment. Yet I don't think im closed off to the idea of opening my relationship at some stage, or at least trying something with other people to see how it feels (maybe in a threesome scenario). I like testing/exploring myself and getting to know other people.
But there's definitely that fear of it not working out well and ruining our lovely relationship that we've built (especially with a baby on the way).
I guess we'll just have to wait and see what the future brings.
Also showing that two people can coexist and co-parent in a healthy way while also still having that love for each other❤❤
I've never ended my breakups on a bad note, so I could totally see myself being in this dynamic (if it ever came to that lol).

I think they both do IFS. An amazing type of therapy that can work for everyone, but especially complex trauma. I'm a therapist that uses it and I cannot go back now that it's been integrated into my practice 😂

There was a time you were role models for me of how to be partners. Now it's the same but how to go separate ways but still on the same path. I loved how you communicated, now it's a little bit different because of different phase of relationship but respect and compassion is still here. As I can see. My inner voice is telling me... How long and difficult was it for, Flora to get a fiance visa? I was going to marry my American guy and everything seemed so complicated and was made to look like it was going to be nearly a year before I got it if I was approved.
It can take awhile. My coworker is going through this with her Chilean fiancé. I think she is going to get legally married in Chile before filling out the paperwork in the US but it can be a slog. But if you truly love the person you will put up with another country’s bureaucracy and endure it.

Just a question, Please don't be mad. Did you marry Flora on the 90 day fiance visa, so she could stay in the country?
The fiancé visa is not a very viable path towards green card and citizenship. For most it is an extra step as you still have to do all the same paperwork once you get married but have to pay more money. So, no, we didn’t take that route. We will make a video on what route we did take but we also need to mindful of sensitive nature and seriousness of the legal process. Thus, although we are doing everything by the book, we may simply wait until we are further along in that process to share publicly.
