A friend of mine and I were in line to get into the stadium for finals, and a couple from Alabama that have been going to shows for a while were behind us. They hadn't seen Troopers all summer, and the husband asked me how to describe it. In that moment, all I could say was "It's without a doubt a modern day drum corps show, but it's also without a doubt a Troopers show you're watching." This is probably my favorite show of theirs this millennium, and I'm really excited to see what they have in store next summer! 😊
This one meant the most, that run wasn’t for us it was for all the alumni and the long blue line! I will never forget this incredible experience! HLD >”
Having watched this live in Europe, 3-4 am in the middle of the night. Not being able to scream as much as the crowd did, but standing on top of my bed either way. Awesome.
As someone who plays a stringed instrument, this is one of the only times that I've ever seen a string player in DCI that plays in tune! (Even for how rare it is to see a violin/cello/whatever in a drum corps) Props to the cellist for locking it down!!
My god, that Cello ties this together so damn well. That dark gritty sound. Ugh I love it
:)
Sounded like it was attached to my garburator.

And did you enjoy what they had in store for you 2023? I certainly did.

This is the show that encapsulates 2022 for me. Nothing more memorable than this show and especially this run.
Rip the drum line dealing with the streams
RIP the mello who missed their step off

I still remember watching this at DATR. Completely unexpected. Their dedication is insane, even voracious, if you will.
for all the notes that drumline played that season i would say the four they played right at 1:05 along with that visual had the most impact
Those matching stick heights at :35 are insane.

What do they shout at the parade rest at the end?
Wow.. rules sure have changed.
it's an electric instrument. it's been allowed since, like, 2004
@@echo2121 It's a gimmick. I think that it fairly clear.
@@BramMichaelson works in this case though. Top 2 closer of the year

And your point is, sir?
