    Lee Zii Jia has used this racket to win the All England Champion of the MS 2021. I remember that it is quite heavy head racket. Just like a hammer. It is suitable for strong people with attacking fashion.

    You said something that made me ask myself: Do you think a racket should "complement" the player (for example, I'm not a big hitter so if I use a head heavy racket, I can get a little more oompf) or play to the players strength (I'm already a big hitter, so I'll enhance that further to dominate the game with power). I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts!

    • @upy0ur5
      @upy0ur5 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I mean if you're not struggling in every other aspect, then yeah, go for the head heavy racket to give you that extra power. I use a Yonex Armortec 700 3U to play doubles because I do not struggle in net play or defense while hitting pretty hard. I just got the Ryuga and Drivex 9K in the mail today. Can't wait to try them out once they are strung.

    • @ovtroll1199
      @ovtroll1199 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think you should choose rackets to what you like more than picking a racket to enhance your strength or “cover up” your weaker shots. Some players with very powerful smashes only uses like even balance rackets. I think its more to do with what you like and preferred as a racket than choosing a racket to enhance your strength

    Thanks for the Video! I got the Auraspeed 70K some 3 years ago. As a returner to the sport, I could have used a little bit more flex in the beginning, as this racket will put some strain in an untrained arm and shoulder. Great review!
    A few years back I got caught up in the hype of Yonex Duora. Fortunately, they fit my playing style. I decided until I break them all, only then I'll buy a new racket. I guess in 10 years, people will say "What? You're still using that". I'll get the last laugh when I win the match.
    Racket technology is changing so fast. Also, companies are re-releasing popular models in new colors & discontinuing others. It is a financial investment to switch rackets. Even at the recreational level, there is pressure to have the latest racket. Combining this with incorrect string tension, leads to some players getting injured or not being able to improve their skills.

    • @BadmintonInsight
      @BadmintonInsight  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Very true, you don’t need to change rackets every year! Just find the right model for you & your playing style ☺️

      Yeh im the same here. I just recently broke my beloved mizuno fortius tour f. Unfortunately mizuno doesnt make this racket or even the fortius tour anymore, i think the main reason was the daddies arent sponsored by them anymore. Been a hard long time to find a suitable replacement but i end up finding the astrox 99 pro and astrox 99 tour. Im looking at the astrox 100 ZZ currently as it seems the closest the the mizuno tour f on paper.

    I have in the past few years played with the following: Auraspeed 70K, 90S & 90K. I got my 90K smashed recently after a mid court racquet clash. The other Victor in my racquet bag are the Thruster F and the Hypernano x900. I have a Li Ning and I replaced my 90K with a 100 ZZ. I am not playing as much as I would like partly with Covid so my game has plateaued maybe regressed somewhat.

    Nice review. But you say it's similarish to the jetspeed 12 to the astrox 100zz and astrox 99. I've owned all 3 and I'm afraid the jetspeed 12 is a world apart from 2. It's a fast frame and medium to stiff frame.

    I Have been using Yonex Astrox 99 3U all the way, so after Lee shinning up recently, I'm quite interested with this racket.
    Especially Victor still not really penetrating into Japanese market (I'm living in Japan) as Yonex have very strong monopoly in here, and many top range models are not selling in Japan.
    Until last week the shop selling Victor brand informed me they managed to get some stocks for Ryuga, so I just ordered 3U and 4U immediately, can't wait to try it out this week, the rackets should arrive within this two days. :P

      can you tell me the difference from 3U and 4U version? from what i've heard the 4U version is head heavier (higher balance point) than the 3U? And please give me your review about those racket, thanks! 😁

    • @michaelchanky
      @michaelchanky ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Samuel-eg5rq Hi Samuel, like your information said, 4U is more head heavier than 3U.
      I play doubles mainly, but overall this racket is not for doubles apparently, the racket is very hard to deliver drive or flat shots.
      I can feel the short swing of the racket is not sufficient to deliver the power I wanted to put in.
      Even for smashing or high clear shot, the sweet spot is very demanding and narrow. I can sense the difference between the shot is hit by sweet spot or not obviously.
      in conclusion, I will train more to get qualified to use this racket. :P

      @michaelchanky ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Samuel-eg5rq I prefer 4U for doubles, at least the short range stroke is tastier. I used Voltric ZF2 before, I would say Voltric is better to use than Ryuga. Maybe personal preference, Yonex racket is more shock absorbing than other brands, they did really good job on it.

    no racket is better than zforce 2..may be this new nanory 1000 could be similar to it.. but if you really ask me.. stiff rackets are better for smashes and back hand drives.. not sure why everyone wants to go for flexible ones..

    • @BadmintonInsight

Probably a little like the format u did for thruster F except with these specifications? :) Those are at least what we, badminton equipment enthusiasts would love to know about.
