- Catapult/Slingshot Hunting shots completion and some working dog footage. I hunt for food and on some occasions do pest control for farmers. The slingshot is a fantastic tool for Survival and basic small game hunting. Loads of potential with this compact Hunting tool.
All the animals shot in this video are used for food. They are considered pest species and numbers are very high. Thank you for watching my video 😀

I love these videos. We can’t hunt with catapults in the U.S. (at least in my state of Florida) but we can do “pest control”.

Food for who? I know humans can eat rabbit but pigeon and squirrel? - also what do you shoot with?
@@livelearnandteach7402 Pigeon, especially country pigeons, fed on grain, make a fine meal, similar to, but larger than, dove. Squab is the name for young pigeon served in restaurants.
As for squirrels, they too are tasty, especially in a stew.
I frequently watch yt vids with pest control. Mostly with high dollar airguns with high dollar optics, night vision, camera equipment, crazy expensive ammo, etc. You're doing drive bys on rabbits with a slingshot!!! Damnit man, that's frigging impressive! Much respect.
Fantastic display of accuracy. Hard to watch crows biting the dust, I really like crows, but if they're becoming a problem, what else can you do? I'm just starting with the slingshot and watching your skills are quite an inspiration for me.

Crows eat baby rabbits, birds, as well as about anything they can catch. I doubt a guy with a slingshot is gonna upset the local balance of nature.

Iv hunted all my life mow as a 41 year old I'm finally hitting targets. With my slingshot and can't wait to get out over the common.. Mate I just watched u do better than half the people iv seen with rifles lol and ur dogs ace fair play bud
Hitting is only as good as long as you don't cause suffering.So any shot 'must' be a death shot.If it's not than you added karma and suffering to your future.Please for your own good, practise on dead objects before you shoot any living and breathing being.

People who still use dogs use Beagles to track and jump them for them here. A Beagle would get left in the dust by Copper lol. Your son will be grown before you know it. I've seen it on tv. I'm not sure you guys are allowed use ferrets incase they dont come back and breed and reek havoc on the ecosystem that isn't built for them

I just got my 1st slingshot set up this weekend gone....I have bands set up for 8 mm steel as you also favour that size ammo I will also get bands for 9.5 steel and 10 mm lead....I am a beginner I will train as much as possible to be proficient I wont hunt small game until I am ready and also very hungry I won't hunt game just for sport when I do hunt small game in future it will be eaten etc...

I can’t even hunt with my gun this good like you did..
then dont hunt. Its truly, TRULY not difficult to aim a gun properly, and if you simply arent a good shot, then I dont feel safe or trust you in the woods. Probably just walking around wounding animals.

Really depends on the ammo and band strength. Larger 11mm ammo most of the time crushes everything it hits, where an 8mm does more like a bullet, and can past threw. I hunt with my slingshot as well.

You'll need half inch steel or lead for a possum I'd imagine, we dont have them here
Just use an air rifle or a shotgun

I was a serious multi-day expedition hiker for 20 years, my boys are too small now BUT soon!
I've eaten many slingshot fed meals....squirrel , grouse ,ducks ,rabbits......once even a goose with three 40 caliber lead pellets in the pouch at once
I have a jig mold that makes awesome .28 .40 and .54 perfect pellets....just have to file the flue off where the hook hole is
I own a pest control company and do alot of bird shoots(pigeons) for businesses

They eat squirrel and use the skin as leather
And they damage trees and kill red squirrels so really it’s a win win

Grey squirrels are a pest here.
Grey squirrels are invasive and destructive. They kill off our smaller red squirrels, and spread deadly disease to them that one infection can whipe out an entire area.

Two questions really
What is the best practice for this type of shooting. Fixed targets are no use as targets are always at different heights and distances.
unlike air gun pest control,slingshots are looked at as a “toy” by most landowners how do you convince them otherwise, we haven’t all got your credentials to fall back on. Lol

I don't think you need therapy. And I don't intend to sound mean or rude, but it may just be that you are of weak constitution. In this case, mental and emotional constitution. I have a friend who saw me accidentally slice my thumb open while cutting a tomato, and she fainted. Literally turned white and fell to the floor.
If you were a hypocrite, you'd be protesting against the killing of rabbits, while enjoying a steak. Most humans dislike watching things get killed in brutal fashion. If anything, you may be a bit squeemish. Nothing to worry about.

I have no problem with him hunting this way as long as he is using his pray for food, skin and anything useful.
I think EVERYONE eating meat should hunt down, disembowel and skin their dinner at least once.
And i also think that people hunting just for pleasure should be kicked in their groins... repeatedly... until they understand it is NOT a sport. It is sometimes a necessity. A dirty skill that should be learned to perform perfectly, to make suffering as little as possible.
