One: I suppose the argument could be made that Percy’s line about rolling into the ocean could also be a reference to the climax of Sodor’s legend of the lost treasure where Thomas falls into the ocean whilst trying to catch sailor John after he nicked off with the treasure Marion found. Two: I guess Rosie’s line could also be a callback to Who’s Geoffrey where Thomas hides in a tunnel pretending to be Geoffrey. Three: Marion’s line could also work with what happened at the beginning of the movie where Thomas got caught in a landslide which led to him first finding the Dinosaur footprints. Four: Bill’s line about the bridge doesn’t really count as a callback to Something Fishy, since a pier isn’t really a bridge. Five: You could also say that Percy’s space line could also be a reference to the book Thomas On The Moon. Overall, banger video. Well done mate.
I in think the space part could be referencing the stunt where a wooden railway Stanley was sent to space, if there’s merch referencing it, the team definitely knew it happened.
1:13 This Refrence is Wrong, the actual Refrence is to Misty Island Rescue when Thomas and the other trains got trapped in a tunnel, as they ran out of fuel
There’s one thing about this song at the end. You see Edward in Tidmouth Sheds the season after he was written out of the steam team and would sleep at Wellsworth with Phillip
Aside from Something Fishy, I am getting tired of too much overused RWS references (S1-4) like The Sad Story of Henry, Down the Mine, Percy Takes the Plunge and Thomas Comes to Breakfast - which is one of my main problems w/ the Brenner era. References to past events are fine when once in a while and used sparingly, but when it becomes used too much, that's when I just want to turn it off. S3-7 episodes (non-Awdry ones) really need more attention - Henry in the Dark should used a reference to Haunted Henry for example as it was the other time Henry was spooked. Yes, the HiT era was not one w/ continuity, but when it does have a bit of where its episodes take place after one certain event in the same season, then it's subtle and I will give them slight credit for not trying to pander too much references down our throats.

The last one could have been the great discovery when Thomas was stuck in a cave

Nice breakdown! All the references are pretty neat
Thank you! :D
@@portablethomas no problemo my friend ^^

He possibly came to the sheds for the night to comfort the others or something
Your last key point could’ve been a reference to Magic Railroad, despite not being officially canon to the main series.
Well, locations from the movie WERE in the 2014 Sam Wilkinson map. So the fact that it was never canon is kinda confusing.
will there ever be a new verse to this song about Thomas crashing into Morgan’s mine which is a reference to 2008 movie the great discovery
Why are Bill and Ben's singing voices so deep?
One of them was recasted during BWBA and that one character got a deeper voice actor.
3:50 ngl if you didn’t say that I would make that point
Anyone else notice that during Toby's bit that Henrietta was pink?
Was probably just the lighting making it look like that
Don’t ask why this comment is older than the video, I have a time machine. Just kidding
Great vid although I thought Toby's referencing Toby's discovery from season 5
This is the last video I expected to see today
Is this a breakdown of the songs context or actual instruments
It's a breakdown of all the references made in the song! :D
ah ok
