Throughout my experience with anime and manga I've come to the conclusion that no family is ever "normal." I mean, Grey has a deceased mother, a father who became a villain, a sister who isn't his biological sibling, and he is adopted. Grey pretty much qualifies as a main protagonist at this point.
@@kevinstreetgaming Also, I know this might be an unpopular opinion, but I’m not a fan of the art style. If you told me that was Ultear, I wouldn’t have believed you. It’s as though someone took sandpaper and smoothed her face. Now she looks like a generic anime girl wearing Ultear’s ribbon.
It depends where you go. The Twitter/X crowd hates 100 Years Quest because of the new studio behind it. I don't mind it because the manga is the original material and they have already censored so much with the anime, whether it's blood, fanservice, characters not wearing the same outfits as the manga, etc. I'm just happy is exists. lol

With those qualifications, Gray would be the main protagonist in any other series. lol Don't sleep on Natsu though. He was raised by a dragon!
