Absaloutely awesome video! Thankyou for the shoutout man! My first ever shout out and Ngl it scared me, not just cause ya flatter me but because The evolve fanboys are fully ready to decapitate me. Keep up the great work!
Must admit, the deck looks great and like the level of flex. Big downer are the springs for me. I much prefer barrels. Great video mate. Thanks for taking the time.
Thanks for posting a good overview, i like the Bingo table! Perhaps they saw the market gap from #KalyNYC and #Lacroix going under.... filled with a budget offering. Good point, not a true mountainboard with the underslung battery. Congrats Evolve, good to see some evolution of the product line for their market. That's said I don't like the idea of general market strapping into mountain board bindings on pavement. #becareful
@@offwhitemkeDon’t believe the 42kph limit is for any legal reason, they just keep it low which to me makes sense for how much emphasis they put on carving and dkp making up the majority of their lineup top speed being too high could raise the amount of injuries seen within their rider community which is a big chunk of beginner riders. The legal limit relevant to Queensland where they’re based at least is the optional 25kph limit they have in their remotes.
Evolve aren’t all about top speed, cos they’re not stupid and know too high of a top speed is just going to lead to injury or worse. The Hadean is only limited to 27mph from the pulley set up they decide to give you. It gives ludicrous torque and acceleration, pulls far harder than my hurricane does. However if you really want speed, evolve themselves have shown the different top speeds with different pulley set ups on their Hadean and it reached over 40mph, however it’s not what it’s made for.
I am 6'1 250lbs looking for my first esk8... I prefer 2in1 because of my size i prefer something with more range because I know it'll be cut in half... What's your recommendation? I've looked at meepo, wowgo, acedeck.. budget is 900-1400
@@Esk8Nomad Thanks for the info! second hand as in used? Ill check them out.. might save a few bucks... thought about buying something not as expensive and changing out motors or controller. I am actually looking to sell my escooter soon to hopefully help fund the esk8
I've been considering the Evolve Renegade vs the Onsra Velar right now. I really like the onboard lighting and the medium flex of the Renegade, while the Velar has more power and range and is actually cheaper. I could likely add lighting to the Onsra Velar for night time rides, so for me it's really going to come down to the flex/comfort of riding either. I've tried some of the Evolve boards and despite the hate they get on Reddit, I really liked it. I haven't tried the Velar yet but it looks amazing.
Velar is a solid at board and the new evolve is much more of a flexible board in my opinion lights are cool but shouldn’t be a problem that a shredlights couldn’t fix
I've never heard of Evolve having issues with Bindings? Most of the 'all boards welcome' events, including some of the very first down in Cornwall/Devon, plenty of people had bindings. I wonder if it really comes down to public image and safety, we both know bindings can be really dangerous if you have a nasty fall (as you and I have both done! Except mine was due to stupidity trying to see how fast the Trampa would go lol). Renegade deffo looks interesting if you're new to the scene. I agree regarding barrels, less fussed about gear drive as it just makes the board heavy and noisy. One thing that seems to be lost on almost all boards these days is an accessory port (USBC) and the ability to isolate the battery (aka a switch). Port options would have been nice, I'm so sick of having a billion different chargers - give me a nice XT100 with a variable voltage charger and be done with this charging nonsense. For now the best 'off the shelf' mountainboard is still the Propel for me, but I'd have really like to have seen way more improvements given how long it's been out now.
@@ESKATEUKConfident in saying most people who aren’t fanboys of the company have tried one as well as a lot of other boards before developing a negative view of evolve
Battery on bottom makes zero sense for a mountain board over the usual middle top mounted box. Sorry but there’s a bunch of competition boards that offer more for the same or less money, and have a better reputation for reliability with an established off-road history. Nice looking deck though.
@@ESKATEUK lol. Sure they are premium but have things I don’t like such as the remote separating brake and throttle, so I’ve gone with other premium boards (mostly DIY at this point) that suite me better. Hope I’ll live.
Their carbon decks are always good in my experience, bamboo less so now. GT/X/R were good, took a much bigger or rougher rider than me to break them, hadean I keep seeing them snapping over nothing where the baseplates sit, they made them too thin to try and gain some clearance underneath.
Ever since I've started buying Evolve boards (GT, GTR, Hadean consecutively) I also signed up for cage fighting classes. Now I not only enjoy riding the best electric skateboards in the universe, but I also love to knock out anybody who criticizes Evolve products and customer service, and let me tell you - I've become a one-punch-champion

Why are all their boards so slow? This and their Hadean max out at 45km/hr 😮. That feel like a stroll on these boards
Not sure bud seems to be their top speed go a evolve board
I believe they have to keep it under a limit to keep it legal in most places.
@@offwhitemke good feedback for sure

The new Acedeck Z1 with 1295Wh Samsung cells is the same price, I know where my money is going.
Would love to see one on the channel.
And maybe compare with your premium boards to see if the savings are worth the compromise.

weak and light board, without speed, never worth 2500 dollars!!!

Definitely a interesting deck design
Flattens out pretty ez with a light rider. I’m 190 lbs.
