For this board, I don't think they really can/there any point, can't put a bigger battery on a flexy deck really, and everything else is top of the line. If you want to keep the flexy deck, and nature of this board, it's pretty much maxed out.

What other short boards do you recommend?

@ not really a short board, but a cruiser, the new Tynee Stinger gear drive. You have to swap the 28mm risers out for 8mm risers. If you have the regular belt drive then 12mm risers with belt covers removed. The huge 6368 motors get in the way on the belt drive, but on the gear drive they are further way from the deck. Tynee put gigantic risers on it that ruin the ride feel. But when you take them off the boards a beast. It performs like a full size board. I can go 32mph all day long confidently. You also have to swap out the bushings. Now that I think about it, it’s only a good recommendation if you are willing to do those things. It’s nice to have a cruiser board with a kicktail that I can ride like a full size board. And if you switch the stinger to the tkp baseplates they have, you can run 8mm risers with the belt covers removed and with the gear drive you can remove the risers completely. With the tkp the board is mega stable and still pretty dang carvy. With tkp the stinger has zues pro like stability but with good carve too. I just like the way the DKP feels more and they are stable enough for me. Don’t buy the meepo flow, meepo is a shit brand and every month on Reddit there’s a post of someone’s meepo truck or deck snapping like a twig, and they charge too much for their specs anyway now a days. Also evolve has the onirque on sale for 1000 I think or maybe 950. The series 2 stole for 900, both very good cruisers if I had to pick one the oniqrue has a better deck, longer wheelbase, and bigger battery for just a for peanuts more.

@ oh yeah. As far as a good budget actual mini board the nalu was good for its sale price but now it’s 600 dollars. The exway wave is a nice mini with some size to it for 679 if you get the 180wh hub drive, but at that point you might as well get the nalu full price. For the cheapest route, the Tynee mini 3 sl is your best bet. 379 dollars. Good parts all around and good customer service, it’s the most reliable Chinese brand right now by far. Your typical boosted mini style board.
