The agility with constant transitions are a signature of Céline Dion’s vocal style as well, so I could see Faouzia tackling one of her songs and doing that all over the place.
Welcome back!!!Oh my gosh this looked like she much fun for her!!!!! I love how she put an extra little run on “loves” me!! ❤ and yes!!! I wanna dance with someone who loves me😂
The fact that the audience and her fellow contestants were all dancing is proof that she did her job with the song. There was this blond short haired vocal coach who said it’s not good because she didn’t sing it in a “church way”. Whitney didn’t even sing like that back then, she was a pop princess in the 80s, and her version is not very “Black”. In fact, she was such a pop princess that the black community didn’t even like her for her first few years. So to use that to criticize Faouzia was stupid. She also seemed to be searching for three or four different reasons(She said she didn’t sing it with a mature presence , like Whitney herself was stealing her early 20s!), she might as well just say she’s not a fan of Faouzia style. She had the stage present she had the vocals, and most importantly she had fun.
You’re right that she seems to be saving her voice more these days. The transitions are getting more frequent where she goes immediately to head voice on certain lines, but it still stylistically beautiful. Also, she doesn’t do as much belting anymore in terms of very high notes. Even if she’s belting the rest of the song, it’s in a pretty safe range for her. I hope toward the end of the competition she takes a bit more risks in that sense.
She was put in third place for this performance.. so I listened to the other performers.. and I strongly disagree with her placement of third. Good grief.. I have so many questions?!?! 😳🧐🤔 It just doesn't sit right with me. I will close this with saying.. to me .. she should have placed first. Call me biased.. but I really don't think so. I think this was a first place finish for this performance.. and I stand by this assessment!!! 😅😉😊🌻 Thanks for the fun reaction! Cheers from Ontario, Canada 🍁
Can you pleaseee react to Whitney Houston's live performance of Didn't We Almost Have It All at Saratoga Springs, New York!!! It's one of the best live performances of all time!!!
Great reaction as always, she's amazing but only 3rd place? Rigged! btw AURORA just dropped her brand new album "What Happened to the Heart?". Check it out!

Tre .... I LOVE YOU ❤❤❤
Little trivia bit - She said a tiny Chinese phrase at 5:24 in your video - meant "clap with me".
I wondered what that meant! Thank you!
@@TreMcLeod_ Her next song - WOW. Justin Timberlake's Cry Me a River.
