First time listening to this song and I don’t think I get what many of you are saying it wasn’t good enough. I absolutely love this from start to finish I listen to this multiple times a day 😂
Ha. Your interpretation of bust your windows. Valid. I personally loved it. I think she definetly gave it another color. Her bust your windows was like, im so upset and taken aback that I'm about to bust your windows with glee and femininity. Which...in a way.... Can be more malicious and crazy. 😂
I think the reason she is more dancy and these two songs because I think these were performed before the loss because she posted that she lost someone right after she performed minefield and then that song you could tell she was very sad
Oh, I get the reasoning as to why you think she doesn't 'embody' the sentiment of taking a crowbar to a car and bustin' the windows outta it... But, it's always the sweet, quiet ones you have to look out for, and with that, I think she did it wonderfully well. Even the 'warming up' to the full punch of it is on track with her, as you don't suspect that she would be capable of it, but, any of us can under the right circumstances. (jmo). Great reaction, always enjoy your reactions to Faouzia, I will wait for the next one 😊
these two performances happened before her family loss/tragedy took place, that's why she is more happy and energetic in the way she performs these songs here. but in her most recent performance of Minefields, she couldn't complete the very last word at the end of the song because she was overwhelmed by emotions. you can see that she was trying so so hard not to burst into tears at the very end. i believe that happened after the loss and the lyrics really reminded her of her loved one. she just needs a bit of time to heal, and then we'll all get that big blowout poppy moment that we've all been waiting for. i know she has it in her rooting for you Faouzia!!🎉💖❤
Can't believe I did not know about these performances yet!😲 I will correct that ASAP though! 😉😂 No I do not agree with you about Bust Your Windows... I actually enjoyed the slower burn and how she revved it up to the end. I do appreciate your take on it though Tre. As far as Puppet goes.. she seemed so natural on this one and I did not see nerves this time around.. and I loved that for her and how playful she got with this one. I also had no idea about her recent loss.. and my heart goes out to her. I can't imagine having to perform after a family tragedy... however I am aware now that that happened after these two performances. Anyhow... love your reactions Tre. They are always so fun and tasteful.. keep up the great content! Cheers .. love and support from The North.. ☺🍁
Why did I just find myself singing the low warm-up run with you and then I rewound it three times just to practice with you to get as low as you did😂😂😂😂
The song she preformed when she lost that loved person it’s her last (Minefields )she broke at the end with tears and that was just super hard for her to perform while grieving 😢
Puppet was fun but the way it started I was SO hoping it was a longer version of the "Work in Progress" masterpiece she gave us before releasing Puppet...and then it went into her "pop-y" version that's fun but not what I love her for.
Technically, she sounded amazing. I just didn’t feel that she brought the right emotion to the song. I’ve been saying that you need to practically bleed on the floor, you can imagine Jazmin Sullivan singing this, and it would be hard on her sleeve. Faouzia was just having fun with a little bit of attitude as well. I think when you’re singing a song that is known to be R&B, you need to bring a little more than that.
What she was doing in the middle should’ve been how she started this song, and then the end should’ve been her breathing heavy and getting a little raspy! Raspy with emotion. Technique out the window!
The way she was in the middle should’ve been the way she was at the beginning and then at the end she should’ve been more raw and less technique. She should’ve been more heavy, breathing and more raspiness! If she can do that healthily. You’re right, she got the emotions, but it was like just tapping into it before this song finally ended.
You’re right it’s something that her fans loved at the time. If I didn’t know as much as I do about R&B, I would’ve loved it too.

Yeah her performance of Mindfields was super emotional but sooo good at the same time.!!!

Maybe because I don’t know the original song and had no expectations to begin with, but i loved her performance of bust your windows

Faouzia is a very happy singer
i dont agree with you for me she tried to show the feelings behind the song making it shows that YOU MADE ME DO THIS AND ITS NOT ME
