There are two facts that everybody here in Slovenia knows about this guy:
1. He's some polititian that apparently played a pretty big role in the independence
2. He can play a harmonica and uses almost every occasion to show that off
Compared to what is happening in UK mother of Parliaments and US Congress, this is but a scratch.
He also voted for article 13.

I really want to rejoin, though I do get why some in the EU might not want to have us back. I didn't get the vote in 2016, and I am so disappointed that in my country, so many people bought into the lies of Johnson, Farage, Rees-Mogg, Gove and that whole ilk, based on exceptionalism economic fantasies, and in many cases, sadly, xenophobia and racism. The UK's future is brightest in the EU, but both major parties refuse to admit this, and many people still don't acknowledge that brexit is playing a part in the economic woes here, like negative growth, and falls in exports and foreign exports, which are far more uniquely happening in the UK. All there is left is the schadenfreude of 'I told you so', only it's harder to say that when you're paying the price for this idiocy too

I heard this then i took my harmonica and after 30 seconds i could play the beginning flawlessly, i just love the harmonica! Everything about it makes sense to me i really don’t even have to think while playing it is like talking! I also contribute that to my harmonica it is a tremolo and in my opinion the tremolo is best for melody playing.

@@braincoolo9399 Article 13 (now 17 after articles are renumbered to the position they appear in) doesn't ban anything. It even creates exceptions for things like parody where none existed before.
It just changes how these things should be enforced. The entire opposition has been a farce since August, a gross misrepresentation of what it does. Similarly none of the discussions about it involved someone supporting it.
The EU always has this issue. During debates, politicians and lawmakers on the EU level aren't given a seat. They aren't given the chance to defend themselves.

A thing that you should consider is that unity applies TO DIVERSITY. You cant have the concept of unity for elements that are already act as one in a completly homogenous group. It is basically like saying that water is wet. Unity is supposed to apply to elements that differ one from another, but which choose to cooperate. Every man in a nation, even if from the same ethnicity, region or even family will always have some kind of different opinion or physical characteristic from the other, causing some level of diversity which requiers unity to achieve something through cooperation. Every national ethnicity was created through the unity of diverse groups like slavs, germans, romans, greeks, celts etc. The only examples of homogenous unities are hiveminded colonies of clones.
In all of human history there are countless examples for and against the idea that multiculturalism and diverity work, because nothing in the world is 100% efficient or 100% inefficient. The wrong thing to do is to come to a conclusion without compromise from just a part of the examples, then call it the "logical outcome". Diversity has advantages and disadvantages, and unity in diversity is only as efficient as we know how to implement it, not as efficient as some unwritten law determined by some people from some of the examples declares it to be. The same can be said about my comment, because in the end, I can't be 100% right or 100% wrong. And neither can you.

I disagree. The European Parliament is NOT fit for purpose. Needs to be re arranged. Too bureaucratic and distant from what local communities need.
@@aloevera74 Nobody realistic and critical denies the obvious need to restructure the existing EU institutions. I myself witnessed the great Giuliano Amato saying it outloud. Nobody denies that. ... And yes indeed we need a lot more of low lvl, down to earth EU, then the aloft institutions of "distanced" Brussles. Yet there cannot be a single second of doubt about the crucial, benevolent and beneficial role of European Union. EU is the greatest and the best political project in the history of Europe. Nothing is better. No national state can do what EU can achieve! No national state. ... such small people as Farage, Orban, polish PIS, AfD belong to the dustbin of history, together with their tribal stories of glory, completely fictional and fase. Its our generation that has to realise this and carry the torch onward.
