    How did you add that little button on your home tab that converts letters to Greek symbols?

      To get an epsilon, the easiest way is to put in an "e" and change the font to Symbol, which shows most English letters as Greek, i.e. a becomes alpha, b becomes beta, q becomes theta, h becomes eta, etc

    Thank you very much for the tutorial video, can you show how to autocorrect the symbols.

      Juan, that wasn't an autocorrect, I was using an add-on called something like Excel Subscript and Superscript Tool, that no longer works in new Excel. To get an epsilon, the easiest way is to put in an "e" and change the font to Symbol, which shows most English letters as Greek, i.e. a becomes alpha, b becomes beta, q becomes theta, h becomes eta, etc. Or you could use the Insert command to insert a symbol from the large character set, and just find your epsilon under Normal Text. I hope you found the video helpful, it's an old one now.

    How did you add superscript, subscript and greekify to the ribbon like that?

    This is the Colebrook-White equation, right?
    I'm using this video to help solve the Chezy equation!
    What a coincidence.

    Is there anything in the nature that that formula presents or is it just a random pile of symbols?

    helped with my HVAC numerical assignment after not being able to figure it out in matlab. Thank you!

      Here is how you do it in matlab:
      Name the equation something like
      Eqn= LHS == RHS
      Then ask matlab to numerically solve the equation to find a specific variable ( in this example f ) like this :
      Vpasolve(eqn , f )
      You could also tell Matlab to put the answer in f like this :
      f =Vpasolve(eqn , f )
