The exterior isn't particularly accurate but it's on par with a lot of replicas. That said, the interior is amazing. Easily the most accurate interior I've seen. Very nicely done.

I think in the first season they had the issue of the van being too shiny and the camera crew being visible. Later seasons they made the paint more satin and dull.
I would love to have a car made from on of my favorite tv shows. There are too many to choose from. Hopefully someday I get my license and I will have my dream car made.

amazing build....but the van should be a bit lower in the front and the mirrors are wrong, i'm guessing the screen accurate mirrors are pretty hard to come by and must be custom built.

Great conversion. I dig that its a diesel for a change. Did you have to modify the sliding door to clear the fender flare ? If so can you clue me in on how you did it ? Just picked up a van to do my own earlier this week and I am doing some of the minor research I have left. I am sure I could figure it out just want some insight in case it was a major hurdle or something unexpected I could avoid.
jeff008thepunk my dad had a chevy g van when I was growing up. he put wide tires on it and the door wouldn't clear them. he bought a longer arm (the one on the top, that slides in the track) i remember them from the Jc Whitney catalog, not sure if they're still available. hope this helps
Please go get a set of the BFG Radial T/A Raised White Letter Tires. They are probably a 275/60R15 size OR 255/60R15 sized. The tires really set it off. I noticed yours are way too thin, but still very very cool dude. Congrats!
Just go find the guy that bought this a year ago and let him know which tires you prefer, assuming they still make them in a 16.5 size considering I could only find one manufacturer that had them. Good luck!
I always wondered why they didn't use one of these replicas for the movie, the A-Team van in that didn't look as good - mind you it was only in it for five minutes. Am I right in thinking that in some episodes that Hannibal had a dressing table in the back next to the reel to reel equipment? I'm sure I remember him applying a disguise in the back of the van.
The toy versions that many of us had play just as great of a role as the Mandela effect. Even the officially licensed ones were overwhelmingly all black due to reduced production costs.
I will repeat this for the millionth time, they DID use this very version of the van in the last season for all off road scenes, had 8 lugs, was a 3500, which is the diesel version. Had the same wheels and ride height. Go check the box set.

Many continuity errors exist during the shows run heck they even used an econoline in “When you comin back range rider” when it went off a dock into the water lol Again you did a great job it is a VERY nice van! The show started off with a relationship with GMC and then when that promotion ended they painted over the logos to hide them because NBC had other commercial relationships with other car manufacturers. This happened with Knight Rider too, they stopped referring to the car as a "Pontiac Trans Am". In our case, we simply left the logo off the grill.

Nice van, there is a Mandela Effect going around saying people remember the van not being as you have it painted. They claim to remember the van being all black with a red stripe as you have it. Google or TH-cam it you'll see how these people think a parallel universe has somehow bumped into ours and now many have an alternative memory or memories of the past. SMH .... like I said nice van.
