Good informative video. Where did you get parts for at a reasonable price? I've just bought a 2015 Polo GTI and would like to fit one of these but just phoned my local VW delaer and the price for all the parts was eye watering!

why did you not use a thread lock to ensure the armrest wont become loose? just a drop per screw of medium strength can ensure it wont ever come loose with vibrations but allows for it to be removed if needed. PS thanks for the advise of a flexible extender for the front screws of the actual bracket that bolts to the chassis .its impossible to reach otherwise and i would not have thought of it
There’s no need of thread lock for armrest if you tighten it enough. There aren’t strong vibrations that would loosen the bolt.

Actually you can, but then you will have to re-route the front blower air through the central trim…but frankly, I don’t think that will have the kind of effect, that you are expecting…as POLO is not that a huge car no?

Is it possible to. Install vento arm rest with rear A.C vents in V. W POLO (with working A. C)
You would need to carry out fair amount of fabrication works for that ...certainly not a straight fit...you would need to re-route the AC blower as well....
Nice and informative content but I didn't understand why did you take out the screws which has nothing to do with installation part?
To slide in the Armrest into position …it’s necessary to unscrew the the centre console trim…without which it’s quite risky…you might break something coz the Armrest base is a big chunk of metal…it’s literally Metal vs Plastic…it’s better to unscrew than replace the broken centre console trim no..?
Sir, are/were there screw under small plastic piece which you pulled? one which is below handbrake.

Why the gear box and front info trim removed and got back as seems not required for installation of armrest?
Sliding-In the armrest by just removing the screw from behind the Handbrake lever is not possible…it’s very cramped & might might break something…If you remove the gearbox trim and infotainment trim..you will get enough room to work with peace of mind…hence will be a clean and tidy fit…!

If you have all 4 window controls on your driver side door...long press “Unlock” to roll down...similarly long press “Lock” to roll it back up...
@@AutoSurgeonChannel this variant has all 4power windows but driver side there are only 2buttons to control front windows
When i try to hold the lock/unlock button to roll down/up nothing happens just the red led on the remote blinks
Exactly...Smart remote roll up/down function works only if you have all 4 power window controls on the driver side...

This one is an OEM Accessory, you can get it from any VW Showroom. I recommend not to go for after markets as those tend to make some kind of Rattle sounds after some time.
