Clip Studio Paint and Wacom Intuos
Macbook+Intuos5 and iPhone+Procreate
iPad pro, procreate, Photoshop and sketchbook.
Remember you won't start drawing well on a tablet overnight. Specially if you're not able to do it on actual paper.

Im good on papier i suck on tablet so i sketch on paper first then i take a scan with my printer and start outlining
It really takes a while to get used to draw on something you are not looking, it really involves a good hand-eye coordination. Before I can only do it by drawing on paper and scan it, only then I do the final line art using pen tool and coloring. But this process only allows me to make a cel-shaded arts, not a digital painting style.
Then years after I bought a cheap drawing tablet and took me a while to get used to it. I then have to buy a better ones since some cheap drawing tablets back then tend are not as responsive, they don't feel right, and poor driver support. Nowadays, even lesser known brands are actually good for the most part, but they are not as premium feeling, not as many accessories and have wider support as Wacom does.
Dabio I used to be like that too but it gets easier with practice. Plus I always hated scanning artworks lol!
KornKernel i agree it does take some getting used to. I had a rough time looking at the monitor while the hand was drawing too. How long have you been at it?

Drawing mat thing?? You mean the table connected to her laptop and the table she draw are two different things??
I mean that’s a start whenever you master your current tools you may start saving or getting an extra part time job or something in order to get your first tech... go look for second hand stuff maybe then you can start taking commissions and continue saving and soon you will be able to get tour shiny new gadget. You got a phone or tablet? Get a cheap one dollar stylist and I recommend the app ibis paint X its free and works decent and is one of the best portable drawing apps. I really enjoy it and it works kinda similar to things like paint tool sai and what ever :))

You don't need a professional drawing tablet when you just start. Its enogh to have a drawing program on your phone on laptop. You can also buy dollar store drawing tablets that aren't that expensive.

I remember I used to take a pencil and foil and like wrap around it to make one of those rip versions of the apple pens 🤣😂

There's plenty of free apps in the app store that you can use for drawing, and you can get a stylus from the dollar store

If you're starting out with a tablet, remember to look at the screen when drawing and not at the tablet. It takes a while to get the hand-eye coordination to start drawing where you want to.
*Vincent Lee* Very much true! Also on another note, consistent practice is important! Once you get used to drawing on a tablet, you'll work wonders! But once you go into hiatus, it gets really heard to jump back into your usual rhythm, at least that's how it is for me. Getting used to it again after not drawing for a while gets frustrating >.
i expected it to take ages for me but somehow i got ring of the drawing in just a few days. digital art itself though... that will take a while...

I have the Bamboo tablet too and I’ve seen so many people who’ve upgraded and everything and I felt the pressure to upgrade too but thank you for making me feel what I have now is enough and I’m still capable to do a lot with it, even if it’s a little old, it still gets the job done.

I love the simplicity of her setup. You don’t need the latest or most expensive tech to make great digital art. I’m a graphic design student so this makes me happy. I’m a big fan of her work btw 😃

I really love Procreate, because it has so many helpful tools. Also, my favorite tablet to use is the iPad Gen 14, the screen is fulfilling, and allows you to make strokes with ease.

Is there any specific app for digital art, which doesn't use iPad and stylus?
@@dikshalakhani1181 i dont think so stylus is like a pencil and an ipad has a wide surface like a paper so you will feel like your doing it on paper but you can do it on your phone with your finger but a stylus and ipad makes it much easier
TIP: you can use the app ibispaintX its free but some of its brushes costs money but if you aren't a profession and wanna draw for fun you don't need those

This was incredibly helpful. From the suggestions on how to add layers, to the small video editing that showed the shadow around the figurine. Keep them coming.

It took me about two days to get used to my tablet. Now I’m drawing really good drawings that I’m really proud of! So excited to keep working and creating! I use an XP pen G430S tablet (mostly used for OSU but drawing is actually easy on it!) and Medibang which is free and really easy to use!

What I've come to understand as i keep exploring hobbies is that its less than the tools and more about the time you put into it
You can't run before you can walk you can't walk before you can crawl. Basically learn to draw on paper before digital it makes life easier when you do move on to digital like old mate in the video said she started with pen and paper then moved to digital, although I always start ideas I have on traditional drawing methods before moving to digital, current i'm working on a new character and there's a lot of paper, that's how I work atleast.

I have a Note 8 and try to experiment in my notes app. I think a lot of it is just diving in and giving it a go. I never knew how much I could draw until I just went for it and believed in my abilities.

Another way to get a touch pen way cheaper is to get a pen with a silicone thing at the end. I have one and I've been using for a very long time.
It's also pretty useful since it's a pen you write with and a pen at the other end to draw with, but digitally.Though I don't know where to buy them.

I’m good at traditional art , I draw cartoonish illustrations really well and ink them and people say it looks printed :D I recently got an iPad and I can’t wait to draw and transfer my skills on it.
