Our camping trip was almost ruined… (Turkey Swamp Campground)

Our first van camping trip of the season was almost ruined on our first day, but we were determined to not let a little setback ruin our trip. Watch this video to find out what happened when we took the van to Turkey Swamp Campground and hopefully learn from our mistakes.
Camping in our Van is one of our favorite ways to slow down and disconnect in nature. In this video, we enjoy some delicious meals, check out the paddleboats and do some hiking. We did have some unpleasant visitors which stressed us out for a couple of hours, but we handled it and tried not to let it ruin our experience. Come slow down with us on this camping adventure!

Flotation devices are optional for adults on the paddle boats. We are both strong swimmers and the swamp doesn’t have much of a current so we felt comfortable without them.
