    I don’t usually comment on videos, but this is the best car review I’ve watched. So well spoken and explained. I had already ordered my Kona N-line but this video just made me even more excited to drive it!

    Base model 36k drive away only comes with 4 inch driver LCD instrument panel. It is a very big difference. Even the base 41k hybrid only has a driver 4 inch LCD instrument panel. For 35k the sport Seltos has 2 full size LCD panels and 7 year warranty.

      But the seltos doesn’t come with some other features you get with the standard Kona like adaptive cruise

      The Seltos is not as refined and a generation behind. It’s a lower end car with a blingy dash tacked on, this is made from the ground up to feel more premium so I’d expect better interior quality and NVH.

    Great car and plenty of space now, refinement and use of materials and quieter, better than competitors when i was comparing and styling is 1st class. Ride is excellent also and that was the entry model compared to other makes. Japanese interracial There is plenty of headroom to get in and out and not too high or low so would also suiit those that have leg or back issues like previous kona.

    Does the N line base model feature some of the features that the premium model has for the Kona like electric seats and transmission?

    Could you fit golf clubs in the boot without putting the back seats down though?

    Konalooks like the size of a Tuscon at 1:00 or bloke is very small?

    • @grayden4138
      @grayden4138 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think its a little smaller than the Tuscon but definitely is now closer to competing directly with it rather than the Venue when it comes to size. Odd decision by Hyundai, but I ultimately feel they're going to forego the ICE altogether and make the Kona EV-only in the next year or so. I'd really like it if they just spin IONIQ off into it's own brand like they did with Genesis and let it be the EV nameplate exclusively.

      I'm 6'1 and saw this car in person the other day. It didn't look that big to me. Maybe he's just really small 😆

    I am deciding between the Kona and the Seltos. A seemingly insignificant feature that is swaying me massively towards the Kona is the fact that it has LED headlights on all variants. In 2023 t is utterly bizarre that only the top spec Seltos has LED and not halogen headlights.

      Get a kona premium if u want luxury, Get a seltos if ur in for budget. As a hyundai i30 owner myself, i looked for luxury and the i30 was a deal for 30,500 AUD. The kona looks like if a staria and a tucson had a baby ( funni joke to use if u get one ). Its good for work trips and etc. And dont forget about the ambient lighting on the premium model.

    Great looking modern styled car. Hyundai are coming along very far. Can't wait to test drive one.

    I find it odd when auto journalists test a Civic SI with basically *the same performance numbers* as this but say this isn't sporty but it is? Marketing? Bias? IDK but something's off.
    Hyundai did make a statement at the global release of Kona, no full N except possibly a EV N, sorry.

    • @WheelsAustralia
      @WheelsAustralia  ปีที่แล้ว

      There won't be a Kona EV N because they're only doing EV N cars with the 800V models, and this is a 400V model. We could however see an AWD EV N Line at some point. www.whichcar.com.au/news/hot-kona-ev-could-still-happen - @mikestevens

    You say its a 4 wheel drive - is this correct

    • @scraverX
      @scraverX 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The N-Line is All Wheel Drive, not 4 wheel drive there is a technical difference.
      Base 2lt and the Hybrid are Front drive only.

      note: dont judge a book by its cover. the interior is the great part about the Kona.

    Every other review is 2024 but you decide to think it's 2023 and go against every other review and how the car industry does their releases for the past 50yrs at least.

    Looks like a boxy van inside. Kinda toyota hiace. It's personal preference but doesn't feel like a modern interior for me sorry.

    Looks like an EV from the front, it will overheat over 30c, with the a/c on going uphill with 2 adults and 2 children on-board, with a small roof rack.

      the front opens up to allow more air when needed which should give it more air than the present kona styling... i really like the styling of the front over the previous model if they have an N model this would interest me... but till then ill stick with the 22 Kona N

    • @perpetualgrin5804
      @perpetualgrin5804 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@DriverJ-N Thanks, didn't know that . Maybe my comment was alittle extreme. Will delete ' roof rack '.

      That's because they designed the EV first and modified it for ICE and HEV. When the vent flaps open on the ICE and Hybrid the grill is open to levels comparable to deleting a light to use it for the turbo intake on a race car.
      The Hybrid version also has Zero load on the Engine from the AC.
