Your temps mixed with the black pot probably caused some stress leading to the knobby potatoes. Also longer varieties are more prone to this. So choose a smaller potato next time ❤

Also yay I think used to have the Bountiful Blue Blueberry! I had if for three years and got the most delicious berries the second year, but the third year it died (skill issue surely lol) anyway the tag had half disintegrated and I could only read "bountiful" and it was from Monrovia. I was sad to not know what it was but now I can get more woohoo!

Looked up weird shaped potatoes and it said that temps over 90 degrees will cause stress to the plants and thus the potatoes. It says to mulch with straw to mitigate heat stress.

Robbie, I had powdery mildew and I tried the 1 part whole milk, 2 parts water. Spray on the leaves when the sun is shining on them.. the fat in the milk and the UV light kills the powdery mildew fungus… this totally worked on my new honeysuckle plant .

I waa reading and it says your craxy potatoes got that way because they got heat stress or inconsistent watering. So since its 100 out I'll wait til fall to replant potatoes.
