I have given my husband a new Lemax village piece every year since our daughter was born (from her) and it is so beautiful watching the village grow as she grows!
Did the audio go odd for anyone else too? I heard overtalking from someone and banging sounds and it was really hard to hear. Not sure if it’s something with my Internet or on the video?
Yes, it went funny for me as well. Lots of banging etc. at about 4:38 or so.
As a woman of color I must say I adore the inclusiveness of your Christmas village. I appreciate it beyond words.
I collect Dept 56 & they have beautiful houses, accessories by village theme (Dickens, Alpine, Snow Village, etc.) it can really take over your life and space but it reminds me of older days when things seemed more magical, easier and nicer.
I honestly don't know how you aren't like the most subscribed to channel on TH-cam. Lol this looks absolutely beautiful!!!

It's gourgeous! We don't really have this tradition in my country. People usually have the Nativity Scene and Christmas Crib under or near the Christmas tree here.

I love Christmas Village sets. I was actually gifted one by a lovely lady after helping her clear out and set up for a garage sale. I now have the Heritage Village Collection. 🎄❤
I’ve had an old world Dickens Christmas Village forever and it’s the first thing to go up and last to come down. My husband passed away in 2020 and I’ve now moved from a 3,000 SF house to a 1,050 SF apartment. But I need my village so I’ll probably put up a portion of it!
Hi Lauren, I purchased the Ice Rink, Hot Chocolate Truck, Some Trees and The couple sitting on the bench. I have an apartment and don't have a lot of room so I though an Ice Skating vignette would be perfect. My daughter was so excited to see it. My family loves it! Thanks for sharing and inspiring.

Got my first 2 Lemax buildings this year. And a couple of people and lampposts. lots of fun setting it up!
I have mine on a timer with my other decorations so they all go on and off together!

My mom has had a New England Village (Dept 56) for years, such a great memory from my childhood when that goes out every holiday season. This adorable Lemax village makes me want to start collecting this for my kiddos. 🎄
I love your village! My sister got my grandma's and I have been so jealous ever since lol but I know she really loves it too, so I'll just have to get my own eventually. It is such a magical Christmas memory I have from when I was younger!

Once again, another gorgeous video! Love this entire Lemax Village! I have a vintage ceramic village from the early 80s. Beautiful, hand painted village, with lights. I have never had a big enough mantel space to display all of it. Your video has inspired me to get my village out of storage and set it up at my dads. He is 90 and living alone after my dear mother passed away in 2020. She always loved decorating Christmas with me! She loved the Christmas village in the bay window of the living room. Decorating was our Mother-Daughter precious time. Memories live on in bespoke Christmas decor and enchanting Christmas Villages. Thank you always for your beautiful videos. Merry Christmas! ♡

This is my second year doing a Christmas village- I only have 5 pieces but am slowly collecting. I have dept 56 and (1) lemax. I really like the Lemax pieces!!
Quick question, have you considered a timer for them? I wanted to try that to see if it worked with villages.
I do decorate with theLemax Villages,, so cheerful & beautiful. It's become a tradition in our family 👨👩👦 I myself, & husband, enjoy them very much,, but I have children who enjoy the tradition as well. They pick out their own little village as well. And I place it where they can appreciate and enjoy it,, not only myself.. the set-up is very easy... 🤗✨❄️❄️

It is freezing and cold here so we have amazing skating rinks. The skating rink in Downtown Detroit is so good!

Hi Lauren, I'm curious if you have any tips for hanging garland. I have a 12 foot long wooden fireplace mantle with a brick surround from floor to ceiling. I like to hang the garland under the mantle with lights so I can have my village on top. But the garland constantly falls and I have to rehang throughout the season. This year I was frustrated and may he used duck tape 🤪 but the heat from the fireplace isn't helping. I'd be interested to hear any new tricks or ideas you might have to me it stay put. I would love to collect those but, they’re a bit over my budget and right now I have very limited space for displaying and storing. I live in Greece in an apartment we moved here almost three years ago. I’m originally from New Jersey but we’re retired now and we returned to my husband’s hometown, Piraeus Greece. I wanted a village and just recently I found a very inexpensive one at our local super store similar to Target. I bought along with it several different trees to accent, and some of that blanket snow. I’m excited to set it up but I’m not sure where, I have two choices, I’ll figure it out then. I love your idea of also adding the sparkle loose snow on top of the blanket. I would love to send you a photo of my finished display but the comments don’t have that option. Oh well! I inherited some of my MIL’s villages/display pieces and have added to it. Idk if any are Lemax but have bought some pieces from Walmart. I display mine on top of my kitchen cabinets and add white lights all around the top . Even though the pieces light up or move I don’t have the space to display but can still enjoy

Hi Lauren we have been collecting Lemax for nearly 20 years. My husband creates a huge village in our lounge in a U shaped set up with the train running through the village and the 🚃 tram it’s stunning, takes him a few weeks to complete it but we love it, so I can understand your love for Lemax xx

I started a collection after I saw your video last year! I am just going to buy 1 piece a season, though this year I might also buy a few trees/people. I got the cinnamon bun factory last year at michaels and I'm adding a brewery this year. :)
My small Alberta town still has an outdoor skating rink. Im lucky enough to live by it. I have wonderful memories skating as a child.
I Lauran I collect the same village here in England I buy all the victoriana prices...We just adore it...Spend hours watching it the the evening we to have a lot...Our family children come every just to watch the village grow each year xxx

If you want to take the children ice skating, Sacramento has an outdoor skating rink. Or at least they have in the past. And if we are very lucky, it’s snowed twice in Roseville that I remember.

Very nice collection, the only tip I have used is you can hook up the entire village to a remote control. That way you can just click the remote and walla! Everything is magically on.

We have indoor skating rinks. I live in Utah. It snows a lot here but unless you are in the mountains, it melts too fast to keep water frozen enough to skate on it. We have a lot of indoor rinks for skating and hockey though.
