The fact that I love a band who I will never be able to meet, see live, or just admire with most other people my age makes me so sad. I wish more people understood Beatlemania. It is iconic and I hope that it continues forever.
Saturday mornings in the US, they had nothing to do with it, just used their names, images, and music and kinda copied the wackiness of hard Days Night and Help movies. It was pretty poor animation. Tho, later it did get a bit psychedelic when they did Strawberry Fields forever and a few other songs on the cartoon. I'm pretty sure there is a You Tube video of it. I think it ran from 1965 to 1967. I remember watching it as a very small child and that it was on around the same time as the Monkees.
imkluu + "It was pretty poor animation." Yeah... But it was SO much fun. I guess I would have been about 10 years old when they ran (born in 1955). Twentysome years later my son would enjoy them just as much. (But you know, I could never quite get into Yellow Submarine.)

Back in the day, the 'Paul is dead' meme was HUGE. My favorite "clue" was that if you rubbed Vaseline on the Abbey road cover, only Paul's face would disappear. Thankfully, I never actually tried that one out.
I got to go to the concert in Seattle with my dad after Paul got their music back. Incredible. I cried. It might have been recorded 20 plus minus years before my birth, but because of my dad I grew up on their music. Great facts thank you for this.
The introduction " .. and may introduce to you the one and only Billy Shears" at the end of the song Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band was introducing Ringo as singing the next song With A Little Help From My Friends.
The Beatles popularity and immense contribution to music is one of those things that makes me proud to be from England. Also, fun fact my mum saw them live at the cavern when she was a young teenager of about 14 or 15 years old. It’s amazing how much a small island nation has contributed to the world in the last 500 years.
09:42 - 1921? ...alright, at the beginning of this video he pronounced "skiffle" correctly. at least twice further into the video he pronounces it SKY-full. what the hell.

At 2:02 - That's George. 3:00 - That picture doesn't look right at all. There is only John, and the big "B" and drop down "T" in their logo didn't come along until much later. And I don't recall them ever using that name. (Not important note - It kinda looks like the Band On The Run cover ! Funny.) 4:10 - Who is that ? Why pick that photo ? (Can also be seen at 6:23) 9:45 - Uhhhh, yeah. 1921. 10:15 - What the hell label is that ? Nothing to do with Grammophon. 13:36 - Why show a Billboard Hot 100 chart with Def Leppard at #1 ? 13:46 - Look closely at end of song titles. It says "Please Please Me Mini-Documentary (insert into computer to view)" !?!? And a UPC code ! Yeah, I know... but still kinda funny. Couldn't find a pic of the back of original release ? 15:34 - Why are you showing a cover band ? "Paul is dead" crap... well, SOMEONE has been doing a FINE job for nearly 50 years !!! 20:13 - He's his GRANDfather ! ("He's very clean, actually".) 20:23 - "STANFORD and Son" ??? Uhhh... Sanford. (Geez this crap just continues......) 21:20 - Sex Pistols (shown) never used feedback. 28:23 - Ken Kinsey ? NO ! Ken Kesey ! (who by the way also wrote the novel "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest). And by the way... the first release by a solo Beatle was "The Family Way" soundtrack by McCartney. Anyway,...... fun to watch this video.
The Paul Is Dead rumor is not true. Here's Why: -Paul has supposedly died in late 1966 when they started to record "Sgt.Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" and the cover photo for "Yesterday And Today" was taken in March 1966 when he didn't die -Linda McCartney has met Paul in 1967 when he was "dead" so she wouldn't weep because she never knew Paul -I guess that a normal policeman from Ontario wouldn't write his own songs. If the rumor is true, Let It Be, Blackbird and many more songs were written by William Campbell
Please sorry about my bad English, I never learned it. Linda Eastman met Paul on thr Airport after his short visit to George and John in India. His Partnership to Jane Asher was broken. Linda hadn't an idea, who he was. She had heard some songs, his voice, but she didn't knew about this Person. She found out, that he had a beautyfull bright voice. So they met together. In 1969 she made the potos for the cover of Abbey-Road. These Photos and some Films are the rest of the complete Band The Beatles. On some photos is Paul walking with flip-flops over the street. :) I wanna have them!!!!!
Norbert Aule - For starters, Paul met Linda at a London club called The Bag O’ Nails. A photographer named Iain Macmillan shot the cover photo of Abbey Road. The rest of what you wrote is unintelligible.
When they talked about John almost losing his voice during Twist and Shout I was like I KNEW IT! I had always joked about John screaming his voice away during that song.
I would say fact #52 is invalid since the rumor was that Paul died in November 1966, and the _Yesterday... and Today_ album was released before Revolver. EDIT: #63 is also false as William played Paul's clean grandfather. ;w;
In A Hard Day's Night, Wilfred Brambell played Paul's Grandfather, and not his father, of course. Brambell was famous in England for his role in 'Steptoe and Son', where his son Harold often berated him with the line 'You dirty old man!' - That's why there are so many Beatle references to Wilf's being a 'clean old man' in the film. That wouldn't have meant much to later generations, or non-English viewers, of course.

I was like oh these two songs are great , but then I branched out and listened to more songs & now I'm obsessed!!
I may have missed it since my son kept grabbing the phone as I was watching this....during their US touring years it was in their contract that they'll refuse to play a segregated audience. When they performed in the south this was pushed particularly by their manager Brain Epstein. The venues finally gave in, not wanting riots allowing black fans to integrate with their fellow white Beatle fans. The guys didn't understand why there was such separation between races in the US as they played to EVERYONE in the UK. They were ahead of their time!
Steppenwolf's, "Born to Be Wild," released January 1968, I believe is the first official heavy metal song. Tho there were a few pretty heavy guitar songs released before this. It is even where the term Heavy Metal for this type of music is taken.
20:15 it was Paul's grandfather, they repeat it over and over in the movie. maybe MicDrop should have a person that has actually seen the movie or that REALLY likes The Beatles.
I'm sure John's real mum was killed by a drunk off-duty policeman. It always looks like he really loved his aunt from the pictures you see. Nowhere Boy is a great film about a young John.
John's sister was really his mother!! He was the result of a teen pregnancy, so his aunt brought him up as his mother and his biological mother became his sister.
12:45 The release-versions of "Love Me Do" are mixed up. The original single had Ringo's drumming, while their "Please Please Me" album had Andy White's drumming (and this version became the only version subsequently available until the U.S. "Rarities" album in 1980 - and later Ringo's drumming version became the opening track of "Past Masters" disc 1). Even Ringo himself has been mixed up in reporting on this.
There are tons of errors in this. Early on, he says Ringo was born in 1921. Wilfred Brambell played Paul's grandfather in "A Hard Days Night" not his father.
1) Ringo was born in 1940, not 1921! 2) William Bramble did played Paul’s Grandfather in “Hard Days Night. I like the look of admiration on William’s face while listening to John and Paul singing “I Should Had Known Better” in the baggage car of the train scene. 🥰
John's Mother had a Banjo, and John learned it to play. Later he learned to play Guitar, but he used it like a Banjo. :) Crazuy, but it worked.......... ;)
25:30 The Beatles made "music videos" before Paperback Writer and Rain. The previous December they made promos for their current single We Can Work It Out/Day Tripper, as well as older singles I Feel Fine, Ticket to Ride and Help! at that time. It could also be argued that earlier performance clips they made for Twist and Shout, I Want to Hold Your Hand and This Boy also count as such.
Wrong. They were written and recorded before Sgt. Pepper. Magical Mystery Tour was never an actual intended studio album, it was just a compilation of songs used for the movie and released as an album in USA. Essentially its some songs recorded around that time that weren't used on Pepper, plus a few songs recorded around June-Oct 1967. Strawberry Fields/Penny Lane single was released in February 1967, before Sgt. Pepper. They were actually recorded in late '66. The label wanted a single release to tide them over until the album and they were given those 2 tracks. But at the time they weren't including singles on albums, hence they they never appeared on Sgt. Pepper. But later used for the Magic Mystery Tour album, which as i say, was never intended as a real album in the way Sgt. Pepper, Revolver etc.. are. I mean, it's only considered an album in USA, in the UK it was seen as two EP's.
Lenny Henry, I've heard the Rainbow Mini-Album. The sound is much better, also the other Capitol (Rainbow)-productions. In Germany we couln't buy it. Isn't it a pitty? (Harrison) ;)
Kyle....I've gotten confused before as well. A lot of their songs were written a long time before they were released. They had so many songs that they would pull some out and change them up a little and put them in albums as filler. George Martin was actually a genius in helping them fine tune a lot of what they put together. You never hear much about him....he liked to stay in the background.
Being a Beatles fanatic I knew most of these facts, however I think most people who like the band don't.... It's a well done & well thought out presentation, kuddos to you! I'd like to see you make at least another one, there's more than enough Interesting facts and rumors to produce more vids of them!
"Paul holding a cigarette in his right hand when he is left-handed" as a reason for Paul being dead is ludicrous given that at 18:47 (Can't buy me love) album cover he is also holding a cigarette in his right hand, years before... pfft..
Actually, John left the group just 6 days before Abbey Road was released, but the news was kept private for the selling of the album to not be effected
A few mistakes by fact 10 or so. It discredits this vid for me. However, for the casual listener, it's okay, but I earn my living knowing the ins and outs of The Beatles.
Even there are some facts you've said which are not totally accurate, I still want to thank you for the effort because I've learned some additional info about my favorite band. Great job.

great video, gee that stunned me about 'James Paul McCartney' at 5:34, and that picture of Paul and his father! wow, creepy! what a lookalike!
Andrew Watt no John’s mom was killed walking on the street when a car hit her
@@notdead12 The car was driven by a drunk off-duty officer.
John's sister was really his mother!! He was the result of a teen pregnancy, so his aunt brought him up as his mother and his biological mother became his sister.
Wtf
Finally a GOOD band. You started strong with Gorrillaz, but you lost me completely at the pop divas. Less pop, more culture, please.
+Dark Enkil agreed.
Less pop more rock and alternative
YE
They should do Blink 182 of Rage Against the Machine
+Boopadoop 4182 Read that in Zoidberg 's voice.
The Beatles are fucking awesome they were true musicians to the core
Fact 108
Ringo Starr was actually the narrator for the British dub of the first few seasons of Thomas The Tank Engine.
You know you're a beatlemaniac when you alrwady know all of these but still watch the video
The Beatles is my favorite band ever.
Wow, lots of great info here. I have reveled in all things Beatle since Feb. 9, 1964, and there was trivia in this I had not known. Thanks!
I knew these already but thank you for posting this. It was fun!
And 108 - Paul finally got his share of his catalog in 2017
That's cool my comment was shown. Great vid. Now do 107 facts about Green Day, I command thee!
There are tons of errors in this.
Early on, he says Ringo was born in 1921.
Wilfred Brambell played Paul's grandfather in "A Hard Days Night" not his father.
jimmy5634
Is two small errors “tons?”
It's pronounced Apple "Core" not corpse
1) Ringo was born in 1940,
not 1921!
2) William Bramble did played
Paul’s Grandfather in “Hard
Days Night. I like the look of
admiration on William’s face
while listening to John and Paul singing “I Should Had Known Better” in the baggage
car of the train scene. 🥰
they are not only on spotify since 2015. on other streaming services too ;)
This actually helped me with a book I made for a school project and it gave me an amazing grade for it. THANK YOU
Do the Smiths/Morrissey, Joy Division/New Order and Oasis
YES! Particularly for the Smiths and Joy division!
Y E S
+Fraser Maccallum Nice logo, where did you get it?
+Edgar Espitia it was designed for me by a friend, he's good with programming and stuff like that
Oasis!
2:02 that's George Harrison buddy
John's Mother had a Banjo, and John learned it to play. Later he learned to play Guitar, but he used it like a Banjo. :)
Crazuy, but it worked.......... ;)
Paul corrected John’s Ukulele Chords on the Guitar by showing him the correct
guitar chords. 👍🏻🤠
what’re the chances we ever get 107 facts about the grateful dead? love your stuff!
Another 107 facts about the beatles
Fact 81 is wrong. Strawberry fields and penny lane were written after sgt. Pepper. They are on the magical mystery tour.
Pepper, Revolver etc.. are. I mean, it's only considered an album in USA, in the UK it was seen as two EP's.
on fact 83 you forgot someone. aleister crowley
Kyle Nelson, Sgt. Pepper came out later, while Penny Lane and Strawberry Fields was on the market many weeks (or months) as a single.
The Beatles are underrated
Being a Beatles fanatic I knew most of these facts, however I think most people who like the band don't.... It's a well done & well thought out presentation, kuddos to you! I'd like to see you make at least another one, there's more than enough Interesting facts and rumors to produce more vids of them!
Very Well Done! There are some mistakes, but I was compelled to watch all of it.
107 Facts about Queen
This guy's got a nice voice
I love this video and I love the Beatles. I am named after the song Julia.
Thank you So Much. I love your Video ❤️
Fact 107...It's *not* crazy to think that they are still relevant and revered after 50+ years. Hopefully they always will be. :)
How does this guy continue to say "SKY-ffle" with a along "i" instead of "skiffle" with a short "i"?
dont the beatles have 27 number one hits?
Sean Hisson yes
Yup
28 'if', Oh Darling was a hit.
You have fact 63 wrong, Wilfred Brambell plays Paul's grandfather not father in Hard Day's Night. Great fact list though.
"Paul holding a cigarette in his right hand when he is left-handed" as a reason for Paul being dead is ludicrous given that at 18:47 (Can't buy me love) album cover he is also holding a cigarette in his right hand, years before... pfft..
Actually, John left the group just 6 days before Abbey Road was released, but the news was kept private for the selling of the album to not be effected
do red hot chili peppers next
The old man played as Paul's granpa not father. :(
A few mistakes by fact 10 or so. It discredits this vid for me. However, for the casual listener, it's okay, but I earn my living knowing the ins and outs of The Beatles.
This video made me happy. I wish I'd have seen it sooner.I'm subscribed now.
Even there are some facts you've said which are not totally accurate, I still want to thank you for the effort because I've learned some additional info about my favorite band. Great job.
