i inherited a 1975 dnepr mt9 from my brother 7 years ago. i rode it for a little while, but i also own a 1975 BMW r 60-6 and that is like owning an old fiat and a bmw. so which bike ended up being driven fro the last 6 years, without any problems.? ..... i would work on the dnepr for a week and then drive it to work for two days and then have to carry it home from work the second day on the trailer. after a month of that i just parked it under tarps in the way for six years during which i had no problem with the dnepr save it being in the way. When this crazy thing started in the Ukraine, i decided i have to wake up my old soviet bear. it is green like a military model and i spray painted a big Z on the side because i support Mr Putin.

What did you use for removing the rust? I have a Dnepr K-750 1966 in very similar condition, especially with the rust on the frame. However, I do not know how to proceed with the rust since I've never done rust repair before. If you could let me know what method you used I would REALLY appreciate it. Thanks mate

To be honest, I do not remember exactly, but approx 2,5KEur. Parts are still available for this one, with Pannonia T5 it was way more difficult. ~ 3 years - basically only weekends, but it could be done in 2-3 weeks.. :)

In most of cases - sandblasting. For mechanical parts (gears, etc.) - electrolysis.

@@supertrinigamer since I changed into electronic ignition and elrctronic voltage regulator I used several wiring diagrams from internet/google..
