- Crimson Resort and Spa Mactan Cebu Philippines is a 5 star beach resort in the Philippines. Rated as one of the best luxury resorts in Cebu. Facilities include one of Cebu's best swimming pools, nice beach front, spa, some luxurious restaurants, and gym.
In this review of Crimson Resort I look at all the room types, including the deluxe, deluxe garden and their amazing villas. The villas have their own private plunge pools, with the Ocean front villas having amazing sea views. For the best rates or promos at Crimson Resort and Spa have a look at the resort's own website or Facebook page. I checked the room rates also on sites such as TripAdvisor, Trivago and Agoda. On this occasion it was cheaper direct with the resort. I also look at the day use rates at Crimson Resort.

I have back in Novemeber when it just reopened after the quarantine. It was skeleton staff and not everything was operatining so I felt I couldn't give it a proper review. I have plans to go back and re evaluate it again. My initial thoughts (on what I experienced then) that it was was nice but some of Mactan other resorts were better. When I go back I'll take it all in consideration.
I always fancied staying at the crimson but it's quite expensive. I'm actually in cebu now, managed to escape the madness of UK lockdown and join my wife here.
Any ideas of where to go for new years? The Marco Polo normally do fireworks but I don't know if that's happening this year due to the covid.
They were having some quite good deals with the quarantine. I think this New Years will be cut back a lot. I was at the Marco Polo last New Years, that was a lot of fun. I'm here at the bai Hotel and they have this sign up saying they will not be having fire works here this year. Hopefully I can see some fireworks over Cebu City from here.

You can book direct on their website crimsonhotel.com/mactan or crimsonhotel.com/mactan/rooms-villas. You can also book via 3rd party sites like Agoda/Expedia etc. They only just recently reopened ( I think 8 April) after getting damaged from typhoon Odette. CHeers

Good luck trying to get a taxi from the resort. Pretty near impossible.
