For me the stress doesn't come from doing the job I think it come more of a mental thing especially getting a call in the middle of the night. Start on call week tomorrow wish me luck
@@yepimethan1815 No man, you don't know the scene of high priority services, my service was called by both Amazon Pay and the commercial website, right at checkout. While when I was at Google, the oncall only reacted to bugs, not zone failures stuff, which was for SREs

I may pass online assessments but I have no real software dev experience, not even an internship and I don't have much dev knowledge too. I didn't make projects or don't have a github. Will I be fine if I work hard?

Too much work at Amazon, Google hires SREs for this purpose.

Your age shouldn’t be a factor in their decision process. I would say just do your best and be yourself and it will come through! Good luck :)
