How Trudeau could obstruct a new government even when he’s gone

  • All available signs point to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau being extremely defeated in the next federal election, tentatively scheduled for 2025. But since this is Canada, there is one way in which Trudeau could go completely scorched earth and severely hamper the ability of a new government to reverse any of his policies.

Canadians need to SCRAP THIS CORRUPT DE FACTO POLITICAL & LEGAL SYSTEM WE INHERITED!!
BEGIN BY REPLACING IT WITH A DE JURE SYSTEM OF DIRECT DEMOCRACY INSTEAD OF THE ELITES THAT ARE SUPPOSEDLY "WORKING HARD" AGAINST US INSTEAD OF ON OUR BEHALF...
REFORM IS IMPOSSIBLE DUE TO THE OBSTACLES PUT IN OUR WAY BY THE MONARCHY SYSTEM.
What is the point of having "representatives" that refuse to actually represent Canadians instead of The Party that they belong to??!!
      OTHERWISE, NOTHING WORTHWHILE CHANGES

Canada needs to reconsider its form of government. Trudeau has shown all the shortcomings of what we thought was a pretty good democracy by exploiting the grey areas.

I don't think we need a senate if parliamentary bills are read and amended three times before being voted on. That is sufficient, "sober second thought". I wish that we would go back to how we chose senators. In the US, originally senators were nominated by the governor of their home state, and then approved by that states legislature. Because the original purpose of the House of Representatives was to represent the people; the the purpose of the Senate was to represent the state on the federal level.

      Instead perhaps we should compare
      " westminster parliamentary systems"
      To other similar systems....
In Britian, they have the house of the people/ commoners, and " Black Rod", the house of the lords are not allowed to enter...
And Black Rod, has almost immutable immunity, as well as " whip" powers, in their legislature.....
As well as being directly elected by the people....
