Amazing interview, stuff like this is pure gold. I hope The Kovenant is coming also to Italy! Would loved also to hear some behind the scenes about Chrome Division.
Great interview. An actual fan that asked questions many of us wanted answers to. I wish everyone did interviews like this. I'm even more excited for this new album now & have been telling all people I know about it. 😂
35:43 this is the part where Stian everything, without saying anything! Respect Stian. It just confirms what superstars (from all the genres, all fields of art, science and even technology) in Hollywood have to do, if they want to be mainstream. So sad for this another confirmation. But I am happy for Stian that he is back, and that his depression day are over. He looks healthy now, funny and humble. I am sure the success part 2 is on the way.
My ticket for their concert in Greece is already booked. Cant wait for the live. I listen to them for almost 25 years, and my fav album is Animatronic. Thank you for the interview, this is one of my most beloved bands :) Also, Nagash seems like such a nice person, and has a great taste for movies judging from his John Carpenter T-shirt ! EDIT: Spiritual black dimensions is the ultimate dimmu album, and the only dimmu album i spin from time to time nowdays.
It's great that bands and their creators are back on stage 🤘Now that I'm older and I see what's coming back, pfff I get excited 😁🤘🤘🤘 thanks for these interviews 🍷👌
Really good interview, got cool new information about the past and future. Nagash is a cool guy. Thanks Divinecode for your work around news about The kovenant.
I remember in 90's I got VHS with Black Metal video clips and concerts, there were bands like Satyricon, Dimmu Borgir, Covenant, Forsth, Ancient and etc and I was a kid, 15 or 16 years and when I saw all those guys they were like Gods, so cool looking and I showed these videos to my classmate friends and since that we became metalheads in school. Covenant was one of my favorites. Nagash is very talented and seems like also very cool person as well after watching this interview.
Awesome interview.. My first concert with Covenant was back in 2000 in Hulen , Bergen in Norway. I still remember like it was last weekend. and it still my favorite concert i have been to.. Hope they coming back there again
Thanks for the cool interview, it's always a treat when Nagash speak, gotta love his honesty. He has such cool behind-the-scenes stories up his sleeve. The SBD Dimmu was indeed the best. Would be cool to see Nagash, Astennu, Tjodalv and Mustis doing a one-time guest appearance on some Dimmu gig. Also a new Carpe Tenebrum would be killer! 🔥
Great interview Konstantin. I think you should really interview Amund (Blackheart). I understand the focus in the other guys but he is so important as well in the sound that defined the band. I heard that he has a condition now. It’s great to see Knut on stage as a fan of Arcturus myself but we all know The Kovenant will never be complete without him. Give him a try, call him!
Spiritual Black Dimensions is my favorite Dimmu album. 🤘🏼🤘🏼 Mirrored Hate Painting album and Troll is fucking sick too! Really cool interview. Nagash is a badass
Nasgah is a Legend 👿 💪 i remember the first time i isaw Dimmu Borgir in With full force festival 1997 and Nagash play that show With the bass loud as hell 💪 Enthrone Darkness Triumphant era 👿 for me he is the best bass player Dimmu Borgir had , and i have all The Kovenant albuns Nexus Polaris is my favourite and Animatronic is still very futuristic álbum 💪👿Glad to see the great Nasgah is back 💪👍👍👍
I feel Nagash when Vortex joined Dimmu, something was not ok, I cant explain why, not because it sounded band but something was not fitting in the band when Nagash left Dimmu changed a lot so I stopped listen to them since then, even if Galder joined shortly after, cause I was into Old Man´s child previously. I also loved Troll´s albums, they are good
Glad the bands reunited! F*** this modern world and great decision in not going to the vip party who knows wtf there doing over there👀 kinda wanna know what Nagash philosophy is
@@TheTrueKovenant Good to hear! I love all of the albums, but SETI was my life soundtrack back when I was 18. So much nostalgia tied to that album for me.
Man, don't get me wrong but you really need to work hard on your english skills. And what do you mean by "you don't know what else to ask"? Nagash is so goddamn interesting character and almost every answer he gave you could have branched out in several different directions. Both musically, philosophically and politically. "Thousand different paths" hehe. Still, thanks for this and Astennu's anyway... We've been waiting too long for those two legends to finally make their voices be heard in this horrible social media/youtube era.
One of the cool things about Naggash is that if you write to him he answers he is a cool guy.
Amazing musician! 🔥

Very nice guy stian is. Very good song writter. I bet he had alot of influence on EDT of dimmu borgir.

Thank you for this interview with the legendary Nagash! Thank you Nagash for agreeing to interview! This is awesome 🤘

Nagash Absolute Legend🖤
Спасибо огромнейшее за интервью с этим замечательным музыкантом и легендарной личностью.
Excellent bro, nice interview. This guy is a genius, I think he has something below the sleeve for the new album.

😈🇨🇴👹🤘🏽Great Covenant... Come to Colombia here we will receive you with our horns up🇨🇴🤘🏽👹😈
I cant wait for more tour dates but i feel like i'll have to get plane tickets to catch The Kovenant
Great interview :)))
Sooooo.... There are 4 full Aria Galactica songs somewhere out there ;)
Glad the bands reunited! F*** this modern world and great decision in not going to the vip party who knows wtf there doing over there👀 kinda wanna know what Nagash philosophy is
I like this guy and his bands (for decades now) but saying In Flames sounds just like Katatonia and Opeth is waaaaaaay off the mark! 🤦♂
I guess he just meant the old days, like middle 90s before they shaped their own style, those bands actually sounded pretty similar
@@CrusTeek Not at all
Personally, I would have preferred Nexus 2-9 to anything they have released afterwards...
Subbed
Hi, thanks! What about SETI???
When there's more time we will include SETI as well.
@@TheTrueKovenant Good to hear! I love all of the albums, but SETI was my life soundtrack back when I was 18. So much nostalgia tied to that album for me.
Btw what was that leaked demo band? Era Galactica??
@@WarunkiMedia it was supposed to be new Kovenant album Era Galactica
@@DivineCode2019ahhh makes sense, thanks!
Nice to see Putin interviewing Nagash....
Nothing in common with that asshole, mate!))

Man, i know that my english is "pigeon", but i dont care, as it was enough to make an interview you really enjoyed!
