R.I.P Aaron, absolutely loved everything you did in the drum world ❤
Hearing people talk more about Aaron’s character than his talent makes wish even more that I had met him just once. This is still unbelievable.
Jesus! That was some insane drumming 🤯 4:40 🔥🔥
Room full of amazing musicians! Larnell/Wright... Spears... man!
Ik it’s insane!!
R.I.P Aaron spears the 🐐❤️💯
That ride cymbal is so enjoyable to listen too. Zildjian make a few more!
R.I.P. amazing drummer, sail on brother.
What a monster of a drummer
Aaron never ceases to amaze! Awesome drummer
I am amazed at the speed and control of his left hand during all those nasty ghost notes...oh yeah and he’s pretty good at everything else too...
Signature Aaron high-hat 4:49
You really know the dude
Rest in peace legend ❤
4:42 mind explosion
It gets even crazier when you count along with him.
Like, he's perfectly on the beat when he needs to be, but when he rolls back just a touch...SO. TASTY.
Insane! I'm an instant fan!
Who loves Aaron
THE GOAT
I do
He’s awesome and love his drumming but I don’t think he’s the goat.
@@andyham6094 He is the best musician-drummer in the world !!!
What a quality and refined technique! Sensational
Oh yeah. I’ve been waiting EXACTLY for this one!!!

RIP GOAT
Great video. ☺
monstro demais, não canso de assistir!
I like the VFJams montage better. I love to watch the other musicians enjoying themselves so much, players and listeners.
🙏🏽🕊
I think I watched the Aaron and Larnell video about 72 times each
Absolute Masterworks!! i need some transcriptions on these beats/patterns/fillins/...hooooly :-D
0:58 to 1:30 Reminds me of a Simon Phillips/Anthony Jackson type of thing. Love it!!! Aaron is a masterful drummer, there's no doubt.
OMG! ❤❤❤❤😱😱😱😱
R.I.P. Aaron Spears. 😎
I like it
Don't underestimate the technicality and skill of this composition just because it's not filled with chops... Ask any drummer, any real drummer. Playing music is playing music.
very well said. Totally agree
Facts my brother....it's not all about how good u can chop. Can u keep the pocket? How good are ur dynamics? Can u bring me and take me down to a nice in a nice and smooth manner. 👍🏾👍🏾
There are also quite a few mind-blowing chops he plays here too though
@@TronciM Certainly bro, not refuting that at all. Aaron's got some of the tastiest chops and playing style, but he is also a well balanced all around drummer
@@4585329 for sure
Dunno about you, but I wouldn't say no to a new Zildjian live series
🔥🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯💯
Aaron spear el número 1.
I watched this over a million time Ziidjian to the world #straightouttajamaica
First go on Aaron
Aaron always delivers...simple but tight...
Simple? 😄
If that’s simple, what do you consider complex?
Outside the curve
Tight
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 @AaronSpears
When they open it up at 2:18 -- my goodness!
those off beats dayum son!
I’m going to go home and take a shower after how dirty that was...
Hey man!

4:43 holy fucking shit bro 😭😭😭
Still uses that dw pedal haha
I hear ya #MonoNeon...
Hey is this fusion jazz

Just pickup a pair of his sticks from Sweetwater they are nice feel good in my hands . Awesome
Any idea what sticks he's using?
Zildjian's Aaron Spears Signature Drumsticks. 🤙🏽
SHOW

It would have been messed up if the band started playing "Caught Up" 🤣🤣
ALAN SPEARS
Good Music
The shift tho 🤔
I just need to know what kind of wood are in those shells so I can go ahead and spend my life savings
Maple is still the best in terms of sound and resonance!
those are birch shells
Give it up for the sound engineers
great performance i dont like that track tho
Fire these camera operators, terrible angles and composition.
Ugh 😩
Exactly! All I want is the bird's eye view.
Aaron Spears is one of my favourites, and he usually has impeccable time, but this composition was awkward and horribly out of time in my opinion. It didn’t work on any level for me.
you and I must have watched two different videos, dude! his time??? his spot-on time in this is FREAKY good. to do all of the ghosting AND footwork he did and land that one........MAN PLEASE!
Don’t judge how good it was by everyone else’s reaction. Really watch and listen
javan miller put a metronome against the offbeat portion and when the band goes in and out of choruses If you the band is in time you need help.
Miguel McKenzie Jr People were clapping, what reaction are you talking about. I said the piece was awkward, and I’m not blaming Aaron you could see he was trying to hold it together but it was still out of time.
No you need help. There is a metronome clap throughout the shuffle and it’s spot on. A slight rush in the first offbeat section then It sets back in. It’s not his strongest performance but solid nevertheless
I like it
