This dress was made by Adrian Lagundino Ebrada and inspired by Philippine history and was called the “ PEARL OF THE ORIENT." It symbolized the country's cultural and natural beauty with over 7,000 islands, rich biodiversity, and strategic geographical location. The Philippines has a long and rich history of pearl diving and pearl cultivation and become one of the world's most important sources of pearls for the next three centuries.
