,researchers chose to test the Y chromosome from the descendants of Field Jefferson, Thomas’s uncle.
Researchers found that the configuration of the Y chromosome in the descendants of Field Jefferson- a general configuration common to the entire Jefferson family-was indeed present in the descendants of sally Hemings youngest child , Easton.
Therefore on the basis of DNA testing the most that the researchers could conclusively say was that some Jefferson

Thank you for the information. I dint understand why people can comprehend grooming and child molestation or nit having an option to refuse when slavery or black history is involved. Do people realize that Sally Hemmings is the sister to Thomas Jefferson’s wife? She’s his sister-in-law as well and that’s why her children with Jefferson are so closely related. They were more than 1/2 siblings but 3/5 because the maternal line was from the same father.
Looking at a lot of the discussion here on Sally's age when Thomas started "courting" her. Yes, she was indeed a child. Keep that in mind, folks, when you start bashing the founder of Islam for being a child molester that one of America's "Founding Fathers" was one too.

She had a mixed mother and a white father. Sally Hemings more than like resembled someone like Mariah Carey. She would be a person who is so fair skinned, you wouldn’t be able to tell they had any black in them by looking at them. Many people didn’t even know Sally and her siblings were slaves because they were so fair skinned. Sally’s children were octoroons. They would have been so light you wouldn’t have been able to tell they had any black in them. In fact, when they were 21 and became free, they were able to pass. Maya would not be able to pass. You can look at her and tell she’s mixed. You wouldn’t be able to tell that from Sally and her children.

All subjects can be funny, as long as we can agree that this is just for fun, it's not meant to be taken seriously at all. All jokes can offend somebody, and with their wide audience they can't avoid subjects based on that, so any subjects goes. Not saying you're supposed to find it funny, just saying it's not disrespectful, otherwise every joke is, so calm down and just dislike it.
