Before the advent of social media, I have never remembered reading of such school bullying cases reported in the mainstream media unless it involved deaths or serious injuries. CCS and MOE should just accept that with the advent of social media that they can't handle it as in the past. Singaporeans especially those with school going kids will pay attention to such school bullying cases shared in the social media. Instead of reprimanding the parents of the victims for threatening the school staff and such, CCS and MOE would do well to focus on matter at hand and be transparent on the measures taken to ease the concerns Singaporeans would have on the matter.
I got bullied before in primary and secondary school too. But when it involves bodily harm or borderline criminal stuff like verbal threats with intention to cause hurt or alarm, the police will get involved.
@carpaccio45 Take care. It's tough sometimes as a kid.
How about bullying at workplace from main con project manager to sub con bosses?
I am a victim in this case and will make a police report and go for poha then I will report to mom the. I will sue the hell out of him …
I am not voting for this guys.
Reflecting on @carpaccio45’s comment below, if you are referring to chan chun sing, it is - not voting for this guy or if you are referring to members of pap, it should be if my understanding of grammer is correct, not voting for these guys. I am not sneering.
With all due respect Sir, we cannot control how the parents react because it is their child. No doubt the well being of school and teachers are important too but we must handle the aspirations and wishes of parents as well and the Government need to balance the interests of one another instead of displacing one in favour of another ?
He is making assumption.
Liar liar
Pants on fire
Your pants are on fire, minister chan.
Pls don't vote him for coming election
Cotton comes from sheep?
@carpaccio45, do not criminalise a verbal fault. I cannot believe you have never made any speech mistake.
