Love the Boxster content bought mine 6 months ago. Keep it silver ditch the wheels. Mine had been sitting and a few of the switches were stiff but loosened up over time. Great job guys watching from Australia!

Silver over red is classic Boxster from the original prototype, and you could just buy rattle can automotive paint to match at NAPA. I'd suggest checking out the immobilizer because they tend to cause a lot of annoying electrical issues since they're located under the driver's side seat and are not waterproof.

Great job! Porsche paint is very nice, and a paint job is going to be pricey. Don't cheap out on a crap Maaco spray job. My vote would be do a wrap instead. Keep the hard top and put Porsche wheels back on it. A nice exhaust wouldnt hurt to free up that 2.5 though.

My first 944 was the same way with the headlights lol. They’d pop up just fine and sometimes the lights wouldn’t actually turn on unless I turned the key backwards a little bit 😂
A very nice job. Yes, the car could do with a respray, but a cheap car all the same. I'm sure my wife would like it. It would made a nice replacement for our 2003 Astra convertible. Only done 77000 miles as it's mainly Summer use. It was a good family car, but our daughters have their own cars now, so passengers not required!
You should wrap the car in some interesting colour, you already have golden Porshe, maybe wrap it up in silver or just some other colour, leave the hard top, repaint the wheels in black or some other colour aswell, put on some straight pipe and make it cheap fun go-cart, just for ripping 😁
With the red interior- go with the dark metallic gray- like the Maserati! Like the dark wheels, vs stock, but have no clue on them and they’re needing some TLC. Good buy for $1,700!!!
I think you should wrap it with gunmetal gray metallic and put the stock wheels on it. I am not a fan of silver cars or black wheels :D keep the hard top, but take it off and check out the convertible top.
If you do have it painted I think a deep metallic gray or like gunmetal gray would look sick. Black has been done over and over but that would be my second choice given the red interior. Great content. 👍
You need to replace the battery in that key. CR2032. Use a guitar pick to safely open it. Do you get all the oil out at that angle? Headlights came out good. I had an office in the airpark years ago. I think I might have had the rotors turned before driving it. OEM wheels.
Just repaint it the oem silver, keep the Hardtop (check that the ragtop is ok tho) powdercoat the wheels silver. Its a real survivor that really could have gone to the dogs, show it some more love ;D
Put OEM wheels, upgrade the exhaust, cheap wrap (camouflage style and can use patches to cover bad spots) or paint OEM like color that way the door jams match

Love our 986, we’ve had it since 2010. Vote to repaint original silver and OEM wheels. Had same issue with ignition witch and lights.

Go for Pearl White. Goes great with the red. No aftermarket crap on such a nice car. Paint the wheels red as well.

The 3m kit it good. I use it with a pneumatic right angle drill. The lightness and compactness of the pneumatic drill really help
Try using autoglym super resin car polish on the headlights. It works really well just rubbing in with a cloth

Paint it charcoal Grey, change the wheels, leave the hard top and please change the exhaust

Ultraviolet or Viola Metallic with the red interior would be amazing
