Thanks for the video. I spent several years polishing motorcycle parts as a second job. I think you would get faster and better results if you were to use Black Emory compound on the hard wheel for the first cut, clean the wheel with a screwdriver or such, then use white compound on the hard wheel, then white on the soft wheel for a mirror shine. :)
Отдаёшь токарю. Он на большом станке делает по краю насечку. Получается как в оригинале. Остальное можно обычным автотрезаком зачистить. Вернее сначала трезаком, потом край токаркой.
Hey mate, now this is a great video! thanks for all the info. I have a question regarding my Technics sl120 mk1 platter. Its all aluminium platter with small groves in the middle. Would the polish wheel be too strong for the platter? I dont want to accidentally remove any metal. Happy to send you photos. Thanks mate.
Thank you 🙏 these rag wheels I use are quite soft which is good because it's slow and steady so I imagine they would work well. Is your platter just dull or does it have chips and scratches?
Ciao molto interessante il video purtroppo non capisco quello che dici ma qualcosa si perche il video e fatto molto bene a questo quesito vorrei un consiglio come lucidare il piatto del mio giradischi thorens td316 purtroppo devo usare olio di gomito non avendo nessuna ruota che tu usi essendo molto ossidato molto scuro immaginoche devo iniziare con carta vetrata e poi con con pasta abrasiva per la lucidatura opure cosa mi consigli come fare prima della lucidatura complimenti per il video ti seguo ancora aspetando la tua riposta un saluto alla prossima
