I would call this a "calm before the storm" song choice. Before this, all of the songs he sang came from rock bands and usually end on a high note. I actually love that he had this more restrained semi-final performance which shows off a different, more tender side of his voice. Now that he is in the finale, he can go all out with a really grand performance to finish this season with a bang.

Well mostly because he doesn't have a choice. He has to sing what the coach picks for him, and make the best of it whether it suits him or not. Personally, the singers should get a say in it, but they don't and alot of times that's what ends their time on the voice. Wrong song choice.

Sebastian slayed it again! Loved the arrangement from beginning to end. I was bit concerned with the song choice at first but he pulled it off, there's nothing this man can't sing. And each time he sings like his life depends on it. Such consistent professionalism.
That being said, song choice is going to be critical next week and he needs to pick something epic that sets the stage on fire vocally, yet connects emotionally with the audience. Gugu is pretty strong competition so I am hoping he gives it his all at the finale. 🤞

I would like him to propose adjustments in the melody in the Final with all that creativity that he showed for "Still Loving You".
