- i could’ve done this all in 1 part but i decided to make it a series. Oh well
In this series i will go over things in JToH and classify them either “Overrated or Underrated.” This is part 1 of the series and more parts will come over time
Honest option here, ring one seems much better than every ring from 2-6, i don’t know why, the gameplay in those towers were much enjoyable than others
i like rings 4-6 though, but i agree on 2-3

Ring 3 is overrated?
4:34 the citadels short name ahem...
so many people think that cols is the best citadel but i think its the single most unenjoyable thing that ever existed in this game its just not a good idea to put the hardest jumps of the tower outside
yeah i love cols but its definitely not the best citadel. i do see unlike some people that the beginning floors are trash and the idea that there are difficulty spikes on outsides are pretty dumb, however i love it in general due to it being so creative for its time and being really fun to play other than the outsides

people only hated ring 2 because of the easy towers being absolutely (NOT GOOD) but the harder towers like todc and cows are actually pretty cool, todd and totf are pretty good aswell
new towers added are nice
also can we tal kabout pom towers like they are actually super fun if you have the skill
If you look at the lineup, only tooh, toch and tosd are absolute atrocities, the rest is enjoyable
tops and tobh:
you only say ring 9 towers are meh because they are too hard, focus on their design and actual gameplay, imagine being kaan and what would you think about the towers
My opinions on how good the rings are:
Ring 1: 6/10 (fine)
Ring 2: 5.5/10 (fine)
Ring 3: 5/10 (fine)
Ring 4: 6.5/10 (sorta underrated)
Ring 5: 5.5/10 (fine; don’t see much praise for Ring 5 anyways)
Ring 6: 5/10 (fine)
Ring 7: 7.5/10 (underrated)
Ring 8: 8/10 (sorta underrated)
Ring 9: 8.5/10 (sorta overrated)
ring 1 is really bad. cant progress to ring 2 because towers are boring. dont say i have skill issue ive gooten to floor 13 of citadel of laptop splitting and completed Zach's difficulty chart obby 3

lost river: overrated (imo the towers are bad)
ring 6: wellrated (at first i wasn’t against it but now? i will discriminate it)
ring 7: underrated (literally SO fun.)

ring 9: overrated ( what’s even so good about this? chill. )
zone 1: wellrated (I HATE IT)
PA: underrated (why is this even bad, I found this fun)

my opinions:
ring 1: wellrated. You can't go wrong with this ring.
ring 2: Overrated. Yep, people think this ring sucks LESS than they should. The lobby isn't the best, and ToDC, along with CoWS, are the only good stuff. Mediocre stuff includes ToES, ToPS, and ToBH. Everything else is traps, extremely bad gameplay. This ring holds my least favorite tower and my 2nd least favorite. To sum up, very little of the towers are good, very little are mediocre, and the rest just completely suck.
Ring 3: Wellrated: The bad ring with a few exceptions.
Ring 4: Underrated: I hear people say how this is their least favorite ring. Really? Most towers are mediocre, and the very little exceptions are extremely bad ones. Not as bad as people really think it is.
Ring 5: Wellrated: This ring is like ring 4 except you get extremely good ones as the exception.
Ring 6: Wellrated: This ring pretty much sucks. The only thing I can give it credit to is housing my 1st remorseless, which is more of a bias thing though.
Ring 7: Underrated: People don't think this ring is bad, really. They don't think about it at all. And ring 7 doesn't deserve to not be thought about. The beginner towers aren't that good, and ToER with ToEH are known for being terrible. Besides that, most of these other towers are great, like ToOOO, ToDA, etc.
Ring 8: Wellrated: People don't thinkabout this ring much either, and honestly, there's not much to this ring really. ToSSS is SUPER basic for what will be most player's 1st tower in this ring, and there's not much in this ring besides the citadel and ToGF!
Ring 9: Wellrated: This ring is known as the great ring, some even say it's the best ring. It deserves that. The lobby is the best in the inferno, or in JToH at all, and all the towers here are hard, but well made.
