I found that sometimes it's worth to keep a fragrance a little longer, try it out in different seasons, different moods. I have a few that were an initial 'no' and I grew to love them.

Like you, I am buying fewer large bottles of fragrance and more small bottles and decants. I find it difficult to use an entire large bottle of fragrance. Plus I enjoy playing with my fragrances so having small bottles and decants seems more fun to me.

Good evening, Uma's better-smelling doppelganger :) It's no wonder to me you're gaining in popularity through word-of-mouth for your uniquely thoughtful and absorbing videos, but I'm wondering about the genesis of your perfume love. A video charting that journey would be so welcome and compelling. Also, if he'd allow it, pop your son on a video once or twice hahahaha. I'm sure he'd balk at that. Have a lovely week ahead!

@@-HRH Thank you! Those are some great ideas for videos. I think my son would gladly come on one. The older two kids wouldn’t, haha.

Sorry guys, Fêtes Persanes from MDCI is a Cécile Zarokian creation. My mistake. I think it reminded me of Trayee which was made by Dechaufour. Same style of fragrance.

Sometimes the time of the year influences how the perfume smells....what is perhaps not too good in cool/cold weather but it pops in warmer/ hotter weather.

    Thank you for the video!
Question: How similar are Paychédélique and Profumum Roma’s “Patchouli?”
I own Psy (I remember from a previous vid that you do, as well), and for me it leans quite masculine, quite earthy and dank, quite 1960s (which is fine with me because I like odd fragrances).
Is it worth having both? Are they different enough? Is Profumum more or less masculine, more or less dank?
    Thanks is advance!

They are quite similar, have done a side by side earlier, and I don’t think one needs both. But Psychedelique is better value for money. I don’t own it, just had a decant. Will probably get another decant, perhaps a 10 ml. I have friends that could share.

It's always a bummer when my Husband, who never notices anything I wear perfume or otherwise makes a smart ass remark on a perfume. He did that the other day and now I can't unhear it. I'll give that perfume another go, to see if he notices, but if he says anything else I will have to get rid of it. It's Rifaaqat, a Middle Eastern incensey, smoky vanilla that I quite like. I don't usually wear those kind of perfumes and I think it smelled odd to him. oxJulia
