But except for his technical perfection, no matter in which range and style he sings, his main thing is that he truly lives through each song and delivers it with such emotion that he touches the hearts of millions. We love him as an artist and as a person as well. He is the best vocalist in the world and a wonderful, humble, charitable kind and sweet person.

This is a contest of professionals and established singers of China and other nearby countries, not like any talent hunting show. All the contestants are famous well-known performers and Dimash was invited as wildcard and was the youngest(21/22 years old) and unknown in China, so they are at awe but they all became friends gradually and helped him to make his stay in China comfortable. As it is a 14 episodes show took 4 months and Dimash couldn't speak Chinese (Mandarin), the Chinese audience adore Dimash and call him "Imported little brother" and are the biggest fan base of Dimash till date even when they can't access TH-cam or Instagram, they have their own Weibo and other similar apps. Dimash gained millions of fans after this first episode and more than600M views after first telecast😊.

Opera 2 is a stunt -- this one, and Sinful Passion, are both fabulous as musical performances AND as unmatched virtuosity. One of my favorite Dimash moments is in SOS when, having established the "plus beau vu d'en haut" line as light falsetto colortura throughout, he comes back and blows it away in full rocker belt, on those same crazy high pitches...
He made it up the top three (finalists) then came in second. There was at the time a lot of talk about whether there was internal manipulation, but Dimash puts it all down to :”Regardless of the ranking, I have won millions of fans. I’m most grateful for that.” The show was a contest for established singers. Suppose you had The Beatles competing with Louis Armstrong, Celine Dion and BTS (never mind the times being different), and then you throw Dimash into the mix. The audience of 500 had three votes each. That’s the kind of situation he was in.
So another great one is Sinful Passion. You can also see his performance of S.O.S at the Slavic Bazaar in 2018 which is his best performance of the song yet, even better than this one. This is the "I am Singer" contest in China, but not like Voice etc. Only famous, established singers are allowed to participate by invitation. It stands at a high artistic and musical level and lasts 4 months. Dimash was invited as a wild card, the only foreigner, the youngest in the history of the competition. He opened the whole set because he was unknown, other competitors heard him for the first time (you saw their reactions, they were shocked). After this performance, it became a nighttime sensation in China, in one day the song had 600 million views. It was in 2017. Now Dimash is huge in China, loved and respected. The world got to know him through this competition. He was recognized by specialists around the world as the best singer of our time. He sings in 12 languages and plays many instruments. She sings all genres of music and is a wonderful humble person. Dimash has a lot of songs on his channel. He has been very busy since then. His first album, ID, went platinum in 37 seconds, triple platinum in an hour, and five times platinum in day one. He has already had many sold out huge concerts in China, Kazakhstan, Russia, Ukraine, London as well as New York in December 2019 (Barclay Center). Yes his higher registers are absolutely beautiful but his lower octaves wraps you in warmth and comfort! No one does runs and rifts quite like Dimash! I like how he adds the Middle Eastern flair in his songs and his accent is just so cute! We are so blessed to be listening to his music!

He is singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist (piano, drums, dombra, xylophone, guitar). Both parents (Kanat and Svetlana) are renowned musicians in their country with a broad musical career, which they have put aside to support their son. Dimahs a younger sister and brother (Raushan and Abilmansur). EDUCATION: Kudaibergen completed a Broadway Musical master class in 2009. In 2014 he graduated in Classical Music with Major in Vocal (Bel Canto) from the music institute of K. Zhubanov University in Aktobe. He began his studies in Contemporary Music (Jazz, Pop) at Kazakh National University of Arts in Astana, where he graduated with Major in Vocal on 27 June 2018. @@aromedia i think there is some confusion. Slang for French Canadian is "Canuck" but many consider it a slur. Dimash is from Kazakhstan, a Kazak, in central Asia. It is the largest land-locked country in the world. (it is also one of the most corrupt countries in the world. The country was raped and pillaged and colonized by Russia/Stalin. That horror of a time plays into Kazak music and history and soul. Dimash has done one song about that period, but i cant remember the title.

Suffering and death is one of the realities of human life. It is important that we should know the basic truth about it, so that it will not cause us fear and distress in our human life’s , but rather to remind us all of our ultimate destiny as people of faith. For me, there are 3 kinds of suffering we experienced in life: 1st suffering that God allows, 2nd suffering which is the results of our own choices and decisions and 3rd is the suffering which is cause by other people to us. In whatever forms of suffering we are experiencing, know that, if it is discerned well it will gain us eternal merit. Note that, it is not important how much and how long we suffer, or who cause us to suffer, but how is our attitude towards it when it comes into our life…? All of these three can be an opportunity of grace that we will grow in virtue, when we accept it with humility, discernment and faith in God. Our usual human tendency is, if we can, we try to avoid any kind of pain and suffering in our life. However we can’t deny also that life is mixed up of many learning experiences both in joys and in difficulties and I supposed we need it both, because it contributes and helps us mature and grow in many aspects of life. Suffering and death may seem contrary to our own human thinking or world’s way of thinking but in it, there’s a certain wisdom which is richer and deeper that no one can fully understand. Suffering reminds us the real fact that we are all fragile human beings; that we are limited and we are not God. Sufferings are human reality and consequences of sin that affects us all. It helps us see the real worth and value of things and meaning in life. Likewise, if we are open to grace it helps us become vulnerable, sensitive and compassionate to others. It sharpens our awareness that this earth is not our permanent and true home. We should remember that we are only strangers and pilgrims on this earth” as Saint Paul reminded us that “our present sufferings are nothing to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed to us later. Suffering purifies and refines us of any life’s superficiality into an authentic one. Though no one really is actively searching for suffering in his / her life, but honestly truth compels us to admit that sufferings do have a great value in our life and by experiencing it personally in reality, you will never be the same person. The hope of heaven gives us joy even in the sufferings of this life. In God’s plan, human beings were created for holiness and eternal life with him. But through the original sin that enters human lives, our nature has been wounded, and is now subject to suffering and death. This was not part of God’s original plan, but now is already part of our human lives reality. Death for us is a frightening mystery because we are being stripped off of all our attachments to this world; our body lies corrupt; our immortal soul goes to meet the Lord. We will see the whole truth of our lives, and we will face God’s judgment. Death creates in us a feelings and emotion of fear, separation, sadness and pain. Many times we evade this reality and we try to question and even argue with God why…? But all our efforts failed because whether we like it or not at the end, we all die. Death comes in our life anytime anywhere. No material things, good health, young age can guarantee of its extension. The truth is… in front of death we are all poor and powerless. If this life were the only one we had, death would definitely be the great tragedy. But In God’s plan, however, death is not the end of everything, but the border that enables every human being to enter the endless place of eternity. For all those who have done their best to respond to God’s grace, to die is to cross from an imperfect type of existence into a new and fuller life lived in God’s presence. Often we feel the greatest misfortunes, when death struck in a person, depriving him or her greatest treasures a person can possess which is life itself. Death is such a peaceful event in our life, if we die in the state of grace, meaning if we died reconciled with God and at peace with others. Death is the end of our earthly life. Since it is unknown to all of us, the time of our death, therefore, it is best that we should prepare at all times. This show was made as a sort of singing competition for well-known Chinese artist and usually as a "warmup" they invite unknown foreign talent to go on as the first act to get the audience hyped and ready for the upcoming Chinese singers to come on later.... What they didn't count on, in this case, was that Dimash is, well... Dimash, and completely blew everyone away... Almost all the reactions they show are from the other "known" Chinese contestants and it's priceless watching their reactions to Dimash setting the bar higher than any of them would be able to reach... Even with him singing in French, and doubtful that anyone understood what he was singing, they still all knew that what they heard was true perfection.

I wouldn't say he always goes from low to high. Not all his songs have a wide range. He sings in a way appropriate to the meaning of each and every song. Of course, in a contest against great professional singers he showcases his range more than usual. But except for his technical perfection, no matter in which range and style he sings, his main thing is that he truly lives through each song and delivers it with such emotion that he touches the hearts of millions. We love him as an artist and as a person as well. He is the best vocalist in the world and a wonderful, humble, charitable kind and sweet person.

This is a contest of professionals and established singers of China and other nearby countries, not like any talent hunting show. All the contestants are famous well-known performers and Dimash was invited as wildcard and was the youngest(21/22 years old) and unknown in China, so they are at awe but they all became friends gradually and helped him to make his stay in China comfortable. As it is a 14 episodes show took 4 months and Dimash couldn't speak Chinese (Mandarin), the Chinese audience adore Dimash and call him "Imported little brother" and are the biggest fan base of Dimash till date even when they can't access TH-cam or Instagram, they have their own Weibo and other similar apps. Dimash gained millions of fans after this first episode and more than600M views after first telecast😊.

Opera 2 is a stunt -- this one, and Sinful Passion, are both fabulous as musical performances AND as unmatched virtuosity. One of my favorite Dimash moments is in SOS when, having established the "plus beau vu d'en haut" line as light falsetto colortura throughout, he comes back and blows it away in full rocker belt, on those same crazy high pitches...
He made it up the top three (finalists) then came in second. There was at the time a lot of talk about whether there was internal manipulation, but Dimash puts it all down to :”Regardless of the ranking, I have won millions of fans. I’m most grateful for that.” The show was a contest for established singers. Suppose you had The Beatles competing with Louis Armstrong, Celine Dion and BTS (never mind the times being different), and then you throw Dimash into the mix. The audience of 500 had three votes each. That’s the kind of situation he was in.
So another great one is Sinful Passion.
You can also see his performance of S.O.S at the Slavic Bazaar in 2018 which is his best performance of the song yet, even better than this one.

It stands at a high artistic and musical level and lasts 4 months. Dimash was invited as a wild card, the only foreigner, the youngest in the history of the competition. He opened the whole set because he was unknown, other competitors heard him for the first time (you saw their reactions, they were shocked). After this performance, it became a nighttime sensation in China, in one day the song had 600 million views. It was in 2017. Now Dimash is huge in China, loved and respected. The world got to know him through this competition. He was recognized by specialists around the world as the best singer of our time. He sings in 12 languages and plays many instruments. She sings all genres of music and is a wonderful humble person. Dimash has a lot of songs on his channel. He has been very busy since then. His first album, ID, went platinum in 37 seconds, triple platinum in an hour, and five times platinum in day one. Yes his higher registers are absolutely beautiful but his lower octaves wraps you in warmth and comfort! No one does runs and rifts quite like Dimash! I like how he adds the Middle Eastern flair in his songs and his accent is just so cute! We are so blessed to be listening to his music!

This video is from 2017 (22 years old), seeing its evolution is amazing. He is a human being with a natural gift, who has studied (piano and singing) since he was 5 years old to develop it and who works every day on him ... to make his dream come true as he has expressed.
He is singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist (piano, drums, dombra, xylophone, guitar).
Both parents (Kanat and Svetlana) are renowned musicians in their country with a broad musical career, which they have put aside to support their son. Dimahs a younger sister and brother (Raushan and Abilmansur).
EDUCATION: Kudaibergen completed a Broadway Musical master class in 2009. In 2014 he graduated in Classical Music with Major in Vocal (Bel Canto) from the music institute of K. Zhubanov University in Aktobe. He began his studies in Contemporary Music (Jazz, Pop) at Kazakh National University of Arts in Astana, where he graduated with Major in Vocal on 27 June 2018. On 18 June 2020, he graduated from the same university with a Master's Degree in Composition by defending his Master's thesis with a perfect score, and receiving a recommendation for admission to doctoral studies in music.

@@aromedia i think there is some confusion. Slang for French Canadian is "Canuck" but many consider it a slur. Dimash is from Kazakhstan, a Kazak, in central Asia. It is the largest land-locked country in the world. (it is also one of the most corrupt countries in the world. The country was raped and pillaged and colonized by Russia/Stalin. That horror of a time plays into Kazak music and history and soul. Dimash has done one song about that period, but i cant remember the title.

I still browse the music videos of Dimash from time to time to see what still store in there. I’m just wondering how much effort and strength Dimash had invested into it and to reach such a powerful voice and the many other talents that he had. Indeed it is really a great work. How he was able to develop such a heights of his talents is really admirable and worth learning. And it is much more beautiful because he sang it by heart, naturally and at his heart’s content with joyful disposition.
The discipline, dedication and high ideals in pursuing his career the best he can is worth imitating not only in our individual professional fields but also in living our day to day life. Hope his viewers worldwide especially the young will learned from his optimistic views in pursuing his professional fields to the optimum level especially his confidence, creativity and perseverance. His labors and hard work are now indeed bearing fruits in abundance. And so my heartfelt congratulations to Dimash and his family and all others who supported him all the way through as a musician. For me as a listener it counts a lot the personal disposition of the artist and the content of its music.
The power and beauty of his voice is so incredible even at his lowest and highest notes. Also the fact that, he is able to sing his music at maximum or more than 6 octaves with ease and comfort in different languages and in various voices is really amazing. But some others also cannot handle and cannot even believe the power, the strength and the heights of his voice…and they said oooh… is Dimash human..? Alien..?
I think It’s just a natural reaction that people wonder and probably surprise by it or cannot even believed it at all, it’s because it is beyond human expectation. But I believed and I’m convinced that Dimash 21 year’s cultivation of his voice and talents is no tricks and no magic at all; though he is gifted by God with grace for music but his years of hard work of practice and experiences proved it to us and to the world … that indeed it is possible.
My other concerns whenever I listen to music is that, I usually ask: WHAT MESSAGE THIS MUSIC BRINGS ..? TO THE WORLD..? TO PEOPLE..?
Although Dimash music are very good, full of content and meaning but I like most this music, because for me it speaks a message of truth, values and realities of human life. I feel that, it is not just enough to give my thumbs up to like this music, but I’m deeply moved to share something more about the richness and deeper meaning of it.
With due respect to the composers, writers and singers of these music for whatever their purpose and intention would be, will always take precedence. The thoughts that I will be sharing below about these music is only the fruits of my personal reflections based on the things that I highly valued and on how I perceived it myself and the message of this song that reaches out to me.
SONG OF DIMASH IN FRENCH “S.O.S D’UN TERRIEN EN DETRESSE” (Ester Rabi’s Commentary & Reflection on this song (Ref CCC): I like this music because it reminds me the Truth, Realities and Precariousness of Human Life particularly Suffering and Death) STORY BEHIND THE SONG : The song is from French Rock Opera called Starmania. Originally it was sung by Daniel Balavoine who had a sudden death in a helicopter accident in 1986, who is known of his beautiful voice. Later, it was covered by Gregory Lemarchal, a young French singer who inspired Dimash to sing “SOS d'un terrien en detresse” who at all odds won the 4th series Reality TV Program Star Academy, despite his failing health and became an overnight success in France but had a shorter career, for he died young with his unusual illness of Cystic Fibrosis in 2007 at the age of 23. Recently it was unbelievably covered by Dimash and from time to time Dimash sung it in memory of his great friend Denis Ten an Olympic figure skater from Kazakhstan who was stabbed after a dispute with people who allegedly tried to steal a mirror from his car in his home city of Almaty. He died of massive blood loss from multiple wounds at the age of 25 in 2018. “S.O.S D’UN TERRIEN EN DETRESSE” means in a sad lyrics says … “a soul’s plea for help or an earthly being in distress” because it is a human being who is in anguish searching for the absolute.
Suffering and death is one of the realities of human life. It is important that we should know the basic truth about it, so that it will not cause us fear and distress in our human life’s , but rather to remind us all of our ultimate destiny as people of faith.
For me, there are 3 kinds of suffering we experienced in life: 1st suffering that God allows, 2nd suffering which is the results of our own choices and decisions and 3rd is the suffering which is cause by other people to us. In whatever forms of suffering we are experiencing, know that, if it is discerned well it will gain us eternal merit. Note that, it is not important how much and how long we suffer, or who cause us to suffer, but how is our attitude towards it when it comes into our life…? All of these three can be an opportunity of grace that we will grow in virtue, when we accept it with humility, discernment and faith in God.
Our usual human tendency is, if we can, we try to avoid any kind of pain and suffering in our life. However we can’t deny also that life is mixed up of many learning experiences both in joys and in difficulties and I supposed we need it both, because it contributes and helps us mature and grow in many aspects of life. Suffering and death may seem contrary to our own human thinking or world’s way of thinking but in it, there’s a certain wisdom which is richer and deeper that no one can fully understand. Suffering reminds us the real fact that we are all fragile human beings; that we are limited and we are not God.
Sufferings are human reality and consequences of sin that affects us all. It helps us see the real worth and value of things and meaning in life. Likewise, if we are open to grace it helps us become vulnerable, sensitive and compassionate to others. It sharpens our awareness that this earth is not our permanent and true home. We should remember that we are only strangers and pilgrims on this earth” as Saint Paul reminded us that “our present sufferings are nothing to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed to us later.
Suffering purifies and refines us of any life’s superficiality into an authentic one. Though no one really is actively searching for suffering in his / her life, but honestly truth compels us to admit that sufferings do have a great value in our life and by experiencing it personally in reality, you will never be the same person. The hope of heaven gives us joy even in the sufferings of this life. In God’s plan, human beings were created for holiness and eternal life with him. But through the original sin that enters human lives, our nature has been wounded, and is now subject to suffering and death. This was not part of God’s original plan, but now is already part of our human lives reality.
Death for us is a frightening mystery because we are being stripped off of all our attachments to this world; our body lies corrupt; our immortal soul goes to meet the Lord. We will see the whole truth of our lives, and we will face God’s judgment. Death creates in us a feelings and emotion of fear, separation, sadness and pain. Many times we evade this reality and we try to question and even argue with God why…? But all our efforts failed because whether we like it or not at the end, we all die. Death comes in our life anytime anywhere. No material things, good health, young age can guarantee of its extension. The truth is… in front of death we are all poor and powerless.
If this life were the only one we had, death would definitely be the great tragedy. But In God’s plan, however, death is not the end of everything, but the border that enables every human being to enter the endless place of eternity. For all those who have done their best to respond to God’s grace, to die is to cross from an imperfect type of existence into a new and fuller life lived in God’s presence. Often we feel the greatest misfortunes, when death struck in a person, depriving him or her greatest treasures a person can possess which is life itself. Death is such a peaceful event in our life, if we die in the state of grace, meaning if we died reconciled with God and at peace with others.
Death is the end of our earthly life. Since it is unknown to all of us, the time of our death, therefore, it is best that we should prepare at all times. This show was made as a sort of singing competition for well-known Chinese artist and usually as a "warmup" they invite unknown foreign talent to go on as the first act to get the audience hyped and ready for the upcoming Chinese singers to come on later.... What they didn't count on, in this case, was that Dimash is, well... Dimash, and completely blew everyone away... Almost all the reactions they show are from the other "known" Chinese contestants and it's priceless watching their reactions to Dimash setting the bar higher than any of them would be able to reach... Even with him singing in French, and doubtful that anyone understood what he was singing, they still all knew that what they heard was true perfection.
