Dimash is from Kazakhstan & sings in 14+ languages, even though he only speaks 3 - Kazakh, Russian & now English. This Digital Show was filmed live to replace his concerts that were cancelled due to Covid lockdowns as he wanted to give his fans (he calls us his Dears) a live concert. The Digital show was broadcast live during COVID in January 2021 when Dimash wasn’t able to do his usual worldwide concerts for his fans (who he calls Dears because we are dear to him, like family)!. There were 400 people involved in putting on this amazing Digital concert! The Digital backdrops were amazing for every song! It was incredible! All the performances for this show are on Dimash’s TH-cam channel, as are all of his full solo concerts which last around 3 3.4 hours. Dimash sings in 13 languages (including lots in English) and in all genres. He will be 30 years old, next week on 24th May 2024.

This tall (6'3") man is from Kazakhstan. He is Eurasian by DNA but is fully Kazak by his dedication to his home land. He is absolutely the greatest singer in the world. He was born with perfect pitch and began his classical vocal and instrument training at age 5. From that early age, he dedicated himself to be the greatest. He has not only studied formally for 25 years, turning 30 May 24th, he spends hours a day vocalizing and playing instruments. Dimash comes from a musical family. Most of his band grew up with him in the finest music school for youth in Kazakhstan. Sometimes you will hear him fully emersed in Opera sounds then suddenly, he wil switch to a contemporary sounds or pop sounds. His vocal range is well over 7 octaves but he will not say how much over 7. He loves Michael Jackson and the beautiful and the great Lara Fabian... He is utterly shocking in his singing and performances. Dimash had his Undergrad, Masters and PhD in music and has studied film directing in the US. He is constantly experimenting with his videos and his stage performances. He just finished a concert in Budapest, Hungary and will be in Istanbul, Turkey on his birthday . His is very shy and unassuming when out in public, but is highly self-assured on stage. He is the oldest brother of his sister and much younger brother. Both of whom work for him. if he is traveling, his father is with him. Always being there to confirm that non of the adoring girls get to him. No appearance of Evil or false accusations.

This is Dimash signature song having sung it from age 17 and my favorite. I don’t know what happened to Dimash in his younger years but something did for him to not let this go. I know years ago before American idol and the Disney basketball singing movies it would not have been popular for a male to sing soprano and metso soprano. I have a mental illness and caught the connotation of the song to the mental health community. The translation of a line in the song is not right in this version. It says in the lottery of the universe (something else) I got the wrong number is the real translation. I’m 68 years old. From 29 to 45 I was in the hospital 16 times having decompensated every time and then rehab. Back 8n my first hospital stay on a locked ward healthcare was not so good. But I was 29 and a pretty girl 18 years old was lead to me. The worker said, She’s your buddy. She’s on suicide watch and you have to watch her so she doesn’t do anything wrong.”. This song ask life’s questions why do I live why do I die? Maybe some don’t question these things but this song is so deep to me. Dimashs song are not break up songs or about big breasted women. It’s his character. He can be fun but dimash gives you something by the end of the song. SOS is from Starmania written for the rock opera in the 70’s. Nobody who wrote the song or who sopung the song are alive and one died in a helicopter crash. France had Dimash come sing this song, as it is in French fipor their Cannes film festival in nice. They had a young male singer who made the song popular there on the pop radio who died young of a autoimmune deficiency disease. The song means a lot to the French and Dimash is loved there. I never get tired of watching new reactors reacting to it. Thanx so much for discovering and reacting to Dimash. You’ll find many and different selections of Dimash live videos and recorded on his channel. I was sick at home in the middle of 5 surgeries when Dimash live streamed this song in his digital concert show in 2021 during Covid for $10. I was indigent poor and deathly sick, but for me Dimash made his ticket so I could afford it and I discovered someone who helped to heal me in the next 3 years. I’ve got scars but my labs are all normal.
The translation is not wrong; part of the verse ("I didn't draw the right number,") is totally left out of the song. That is part of the reason that this version is not my favorite, even though many love it.

Dimash is singing SOS by Luc Plamondons a Canadian lyricist which he wrote in collaboration with the French composer Michel Berger. The rock opera is called Starmania, and includes SOS about an “earthling" in distress. Regarding the wings. The national animal of Kazakhstan is the golden eagle, a symbol of independence, freedom and flight to the future . He often uses this motif.

Welcome to the phenomenon that is Dimash! He truly is a once-in-a-lifetime artist & every song he does will blow your mind. This song is from a 1970's rock opera called Starmania & is in French. Dimash is from Kazakhstan & sings in 14+ languages, even though he only speaks 3 - Kazakh, Russian & now English. This Digital Show was filmed live to replace his concerts that were cancelled due to Covid lockdowns as he wanted to give his fans (he calls us his Dears) a live concert. He also donated a large part of the income from this to the Covid cause.
He has a 7.7 octave range to his voice and is also a multi-instrumentalist besides being a composer. He has a worldwide following & his Dears regularly travel the globe to see him live. I have recently come back from Budapest where he had a concert & will be going to Istanbul next week for his birthday concert on his 30th birthday, 24th May at the Bestikas Stadium. You´re never know what you get from Dimash because he sings in so many styles/genres, but it`s always amazing. Singer, composer, instrumentalist and great entertainer on stage.
The Digital show was broadcast live during COVID in January 2021 when Dimash wasn’t able to do his usual worldwide concerts for his fans (who he calls Dears because we are dear to him, like family)!. There were 400 people involved in putting on this amazing Digital concert! The Digital backdrops were amazing for every song! It was incredible! All the performances for this show are on Dimash’s TH-cam channel, as are all of his full solo concerts which last around 3 3.4 hours. Dimash sings in 13 languages (including lots in English) and in all genres. He will be 30 years old, next week on 24th May 2024.

This tall (6'3") man is from Kazakhstan.
He is Eurasian by DNA but is fully Kazak by his dedication to his home land.
He is absolutely the greatest singer in the world.
He was born with perfect pitch and began his classical vocal and instrument training at age 5.
From that early age, he dedicated himself to be the greatest.
He has not only studied formally for 25 years, turning 30 May 24th, he spends hours a day vocalizing and playing instruments.
Dimash comes from a musical family.
Most of his band grew up with him in the finest music school for youth in Kazakhstan.
Sometimes you will hear him fully emersed in Opera sounds then suddenly, he wil switch to a contemporary sounds or pop sounds. His vocal range is well over 7 octaves but he will not say how much over 7. He loves Michael Jackson and the beautiful and the great Lara Fabian...

Dimash had his Undergrad, Masters and PhD in music and has studied film directing in the US.

This is Dimash signature song having sung it from age 17 and my favorite. I don’t know what happened to Dimash in his younger years but something did for him to not let this go. I know years ago before American idol and the Disney basketball singing movies it would not have been popular for a male to sing soprano and metso soprano. I have a mental illness and caught the connotation of the song to the mental health community. The translation of a line in the song is not right in this version. It says in the lottery of the universe (something else) I got the wrong number is the real translation. I’m 68 years old. From 29 to 45 I was in the hospital 16 times having decompensated every time and then rehab. Back 8n my first hospital stay on a locked ward healthcare was not so good. But I was 29 and a pretty girl 18 years old was lead to me. The worker said, She’s your buddy. She’s on suicide watch and you have to watch her so she doesn’t do anything wrong.”. This song ask life’s questions why do I live why do I die? Maybe some don’t question these things but this song is so deep to me. Dimashs song are not break up songs or about big breasted women. It’s his character. He can be fun but dimash gives you something by the end of the song. SOS is from Starmania written for the rock opera in the 70’s. Nobody who wrote the song or who sopung the song are alive and one died in a helicopter crash. France had Dimash come sing this song, as it is in French fipor their Cannes film festival in nice. They had a young male singer who made the song popular there on the pop radio who died young of a autoimmune deficiency disease. The song means a lot to the French and Dimash is loved there. I never get tired of watching new reactors reacting to it. Thanx so much for discovering and reacting to Dimash. You’ll find many and different selections of Dimash live videos and recorded on his channel. I was sick at home in the middle of 5 surgeries when Dimash live streamed this song in his digital concert show in 2021 during Covid for $10. I was indigent poor and deathly sick, but for me Dimash made his ticket so I could afford it and I discovered someone who helped to heal me in the next 3 years. I’ve got scars but my labs are all normal.
The translation is not wrong; part of the verse ("I didn't draw the right number,") is totally left out of the song. That is part of the reason that this version is not my favorite, even though many love it.

I discovered Dimash on youtube seven years ago when his 2017 version of this song on the Chinese reality show, I Am Singer, went viral. He is from Kazakhstan and was already famous there and was invited to compete along with China's best on that Chinese talent show. The one you just watched was a live performance, one of a number of songs he did for a live digital show that was produced for his fans during the Covid lockdowns when he could not do stage shows. The musicians and producers with whom he works are some of the best in the world, and they are mostly friends and acquaintances of his in Kazakhstan. There is no one as talented or creative on the planet. Dimash is a phenomenon who sings in about 15 languages, speaks three of them quite well, plays at least seven instruments perfectly, and creates some of the most amazing music on the planet while using his 7.7 octave voice. Dimash does it all, from opera to Kazakh rap, and he does it all brilliantly. You have only touched the tip of the iceberg with this song and performance. Believe me, you haven't seen anything yet. Dimash puede cantar todos los rangis vocales, tiene 6 o 7 octavas y 2 semitonos, canta en 14 idiomas diferentes, es multi instrumentista, está en la música desde los 5 años, todos los días vocaliza, tiene un Master en composición por la Universidad de Artes de Kazajistan, actualmente haciendo un doctorado.
