Played this yesterday at a gaming session (4 player, with the three objective cards in play) in between some mid-weight games. This was a fun break. Simple to learn, enough thinking’s to stay engaged. Surprising score spreads on both games. Had anticipated we would all be much closer in final score. It’s that luck factor of which yak gets the blocks you most need, or need at all, and the fog upsetting your multi-turn planning that account for it.
i guess I should have summarized by saying of the seven of us who tried it, three think it is a great little lightweight game for snacking on between main courses. The others wouldn’t play again. Components are outstanding and it’s a clever little game for lightweight games, for kiddos.
When I saw it played on another video I knew I had to have it because of the theme and game play. Got it and greatly enjoyed it! We have trekked in the Himalayas which is why the theme touched us. One note, if the yak carts in this game had Pringles or Snickers it would still be accurate, because you can buy them in the little stores off of the Everest base camp trail.

No played yak but it is on my list of games to get or play. I think it will be a good one for my kids to play and seems simple enough to teach to anyone. Really like these quick how to play videos.
Random, but I really like the blurred backdrop around 1:20 mark. Curious if it might look better if you start with a sharp image then fade in the gaussian blur just before the 3 cards rise into frame. Sorry, Im editing today so I am in that head space lol. Well produced and well spoken video. Thanks
Restock card. Do you have to be able to play the top part of the card in order to use the card. So if your yurt is full can you just do the bottom aprt of the card or do you have to pick a different card? Thanks!
