That is how I racked my clamps, I used a 6mm blade in my saw to cut the slots, then hung them by the opposite end, where the little stop prevented them from going through. Nice idea with the filter there, there might be room for one in mine now.
Nice racks! I have a bar that goes between the legs on the end of my workbench, i hang my holdfasts and a few small clamps on it. I find its a good use of an otherwise wasted space and it keeps them close at hand.
Perfect timing Matt. I’ve got next week off work specifically to sort out my workshop and sorting my clamps is one of the things I need to address. Just 99 other things to get my head around now 😉
That looks a lot neater now Matt, I thought I had decided on another design of clamp rack but may now have to reconsider, It's all coming together nicely !
I adopted that style of clamp storage too, and I'm finding it works so well for my meagre collection. Really easy to pick and then put away at tidy-up time. Must look at those all metal Jorgensen ones... Your Workshop's looking very business-like now.
Hi Matt, I’m on holiday in NZ at the mo visiting my daughter and building various projects for her and I picked up a couple of Jorgensen clamps to use and was very impressed. Back to Norfolk in a few weeks. Miss my workshop😩
Nice clamp rack , so simple so very effective I like the rack and air filtration combined there just one thing where are your sockets I cant see them great video
Nice job Matt. Having a small workshop myself of only 12x20', I love seeing how other woodworkers solve issues with working in a small workshop. I like the idea of the air cleaner above the clamp racks, but personally, I do prefer the type of clamp rack that holds the clamps stacked front to back so you get 4 or more in roughly the same space as two side by side. You showed it in I think your first example. They end up sticking out from the wall either the same or slightly more than the side by side variation while being able to hold quite a few more clamps. Looking forward to seeing the new shop grow!
@@harryscratch212 Believe me, I've worked in small shops. One of my first shops was a spare 8x8 bedroom. I'm happy with my 12x20 though I do share about 1/3 with my pop for all his gardening supplies.

Matt's next video: "and now for the shed extension" lol. Great work mate - keep it up!
Little bit of chilled clamp rack construction 👌

I love that in the last shot you discover that was is actually room for both the short and long clamps over oneanother😂
Thank you
👍👍👍Thanks.
Great shop mod
amazing , i will be following you to learn and just get those DIY practices too
Great video !!! thanks
Thank you

Sounds good
Nice and tidy just what every clamptomaniac needs 😁
Great video, split your ply maybe pilot holes next time?
They are great and very simple
Thank you
You are getting the workshop fitted out nicely.
Thank you
I need to do this next for my workshop. Thanks for the idea. It'll also give me an excuse to use my new band saw.
You always need a reason to use a new tool
Bring on the Clamps!
Nice work, it's really satisfying to have simple storage like that
Thank you
Hi Matt, congratulations on getting the workshop slowly but surely sorted out, good luck with the rest of the project, 👍👍👍👍
Thank you Les

Great timing - I need to make some clamp racks at some point as they are everywhere 😄
Mine were all over the place
Nice work Matt.
Thank you
You can never have too many clamps……..but you are getting close! Hahaha😂
Amazing how many times I run out

It's getting there

I like your design for the clamp racks. However, now I also want to buy a workshop air filter. Damn you! 😉
They definitely do make a difference to how clean the space is
@@Badgerworkshop and I’m in a tiny garage so I think it might be time to invest. Love your channel btw 👍
😊
Pretty nice work, Matt! It definitely looks great! 😃
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Thank you
As a non clamp rack expert, but can spot a good design. Nice work Matt, easy to use and looks neat 👍🏻
Thank you

I may have a slight bias towards the Jorgensen clamps 😉

12’ x 20’ a small workshop?? LUXURY. Try working out of an 8’ x 6’ then you’ll appreciate what a small workshop is!

Tried a few designs of clamp rack myself but always end up going with the slotted design too
Glad we agree
Hi! Thank you for the inspiring content! How can we find your contact for collaboration? Thanks
I think you are forgetting you used your lounge as a workshop
How come my clamp rack doesn’t look that nice? 😢 might have something to do with that measure twice cut once.
I'm sure they do their job
Nice. What is that fan called?
It's an air filter
