Interesting interpretation. I don't remember the movie well, but what sticks out in my memory is the climax which seemed to have been predicated on Prithviraj's character "discovering" that was gay in the film's climax in a "twist" revelation. That spoiled it for me. It seemed contrived and used only as a shock revelation to further the narrative. Why would he "forget" his sexuality? To reverse it, if he had been straight, why would he assume that he was automatically gay if that had been the social norm?
