Amazing playing of course. I just cannot understand how its possible to play all these riffs in a row in 1 take? Thats either extremely impressive or amazing editing. Either way amazing video and channel dude!
I would assume that it's not actually plugged in and recording for the video portion. He recorded it all first then did the video so the guitar doesn't need to be in any type of tuning. That's how I would do it. Either way his finger movements are spot on and solid work. Takes a lot of skill to remember what's next and remember all the tablature.
Here's some suggestions for part 2: S.O.D. - Kill Yourself Rigor Mortis - Reanimator Exumer - Possessed By Fire Havok - Fatal Intervention Artillery - Khomaniac Terror 2000 - Back With Attack Heathen - Dying Season Exhorder - Death In Vain Sacred Reich - Death Squad Municipal Waste - Sadistic Magician Vio-Lence - Eternal Nightmare Dark Angel - Merciless Death Slaughter - Incinerator Tankard - Total Addiction Onslaught - Onslaught (Power From Hell) Angel Dust - I'll Come Back Accuser - Master Of Disaster Agressor - Bloody Corpse Coroner - Absorbed
Когда я хочу обновить свой рингтон на телефоне,я захожу на твой канал. Ищу крутой риф,записываю его,обрезаю и ставлю себе на звонок😊. Я поражаюсь твоими навыками игры!
Tabs?! More than four seconds of each riff?! I'm extremely impressed and thankful for all of your hard work. Artillery has some great riffs. Nice Dreams by Powermad, Forced Entry and CORONER!!
Fucking right! Coroner never gets any love from the Thrash community and they have a shit ton of nasty riffs. Mental Vortex alone could probably take up half this list. That band melted my face and brain. They were way ahead of their time... And, Goddamn Tommy T. Baron is a fucking guitar god \m/\m/
Thank you for including Bonded By Blood. One of the best random discoveries I've found going to the record store. Exiled to Earth was constantly playing in my car. I hope they make a comeback as Evile has.
TWO by Testament and Questions by Xentrix (underrated band IMO)... I always loved the end of that song. Thanks for some deep cuts and amazing playing. Also stunning tones 🤘
Been listening to both Sodom and Kreator A LOT for almost 15 years now, as they are among my top 20 favorite metal bands... And yet... I never even realized ... *UNTIL NOW...* that the riffs of "Enemy of God" and "Nuclear Winter" sound SOOO similar to each other... :P THANK YOU for this sweet demonstration !! :) (although, to be perfectly fair, being a metal guitarist myself for 15+ years now, I disagree with a lot of the choices... But that's... *TASTE ! :)* I admire yours, just as I cherish mine! :) ) .
Testament - Gathering albümünden "eyes of wrath" 'ı ilk duyduğum zamanı unutamıyorum.... lisedeyim ingilizce hocam bana bu albümü hediye etmişti dersteyken , okuldan sonra eve koşup defalarca çevirip çevirip dinlemiştim ... özellikle 5. dakikadan sonra gelen riff'e dibim düşmüştü.. ulan ne günlerdi be .. Eline sağlık harika video \m/
Love that riff from Damage Inc. Definitely using this video to get more into thrash metal since I really only know the big 4 right now. Thanks for the great video!!
I am more of an '80's Rocker type, e.g. Whitesnake, but it should be the big 5, Testament was kinda the underdog, with Megadeth, Metallica, Slayer & Anthrax.
@@mallardtheduck406 "The Big 4" was a title given to those bands because they were the first thrash bands to sign with major labels who paid for everything from top producers to promotions and tour bookings, and because of that they were the first thrash bands to sell 1 million albums and go Platinum. The truth is any 4 thrash bands could have been the Big 4, it just happened to be those 4. Before there was a Big 4 there were the Titans, Slayer, Megadeth, Testament and Suicidal Tendencies. Before the Titans there was the Bay Area Bashers, Metallica, Slayer, Testament, Death Angel and Exodus. Of all the honorary titles given to groups of bands "The Big 4" was the only one manufactured on a boardroom by suit & tie guys in Marketing who approached dozens of bands, most of them refused to be restricted. It's kinda like the way George Carlin was offered his own tv show on a major network in the mid 80s, it would have made him filthy rich and much more of a household name but he turned it down because he wouldn't be allowed to say certain words (See his "7 Things You Can't Say On TV" stand-up bit) while fellow raunchy comedian Paul Reubens aka Pee Wee Herman took his tv offer and went from PG-17 sexually suggestive material and living in motel rooms on the road to a child friendly multi-millionaire overnight. Metallica is the Pee Wee Herman band of the metal world, they're "safe" for the masses now, all cleaned up and presentable for mainstream acceptance. @brilliantlysplendid Here's a couple 80s thrash bands you need to check out; Prong - the OG Groove Metal band, there was a time they were bigger than Pantera. I was lucky enough to have seen them on two of those tours in 1990 & 1994, the '94 show also featured Sepultura - They are sorely underrated and their current lineup has Eloy Casagrande on drums, the dude is spectacular, his teacher was current WASP drummer Aquiles Preister, go watch their personal YT channels for some amazing drum covers. Sacred Reich - Started off as straight up thrash, split up and got back together a couple times, now they're definitely Groove Metal, check out Ignorance from 1987 and Awakening from 2019 for contrast. My all-time favourite Thrash band, Annihilator - Like Megadeth it's a personal band of Jeff Waters who hires and fires a lot of mercenaries to play with him. Jeff is one of the most underappreciated shredders in the genre, also one of the nicest guys you'd ever meet (I used to get free tickets from Randy Rampage to shows all over Greater Vancouver prior to the release of their first album, Randy Rampage RIP was a friend of my dad) Dave asked him to join Megadeth but their egos would have clashed. IMHO Jeff is the superior guitarist. Testament, Overkill, Death Angel, Exciter, Nuclear Assault, Biohazard and Metal Church are also worth your time.
Sins of Omission and Dyers Eve one after the other! And then Raining blood that kicks in. 3 of my really favorite riffs of all thrash metal all in one. You sure are a fucking legend!🤘
That's a fantastic selection of riffs with the main players all covered. I was delighted to see Xentrix included as they are the most underrated thrash band IMHO.
Way better than expected, especially compared to some of the boomer lists here on TH-cam (Miguel Sequira for instance)! Nice picks with Forbidden, Xentrix etc, and ACTUALLY choosing one of Metallica’s best riffs (Damage Inc) instead of their most popular song 😃 Artillery - Khomaniac or Don’t Believe (middle section) Forbidden - Inifinte Sepultura - any other song than Arise from the Arise album, but especially Subtraction, Desperate Cry, Under Siege or Dead Embryonic Cells Vio-Lenge - TDS or Kill On Command Obliveon - Frosted Avowals, Droidomized (middle section) or From This Day Forward (opening riff) Aspid - It Came Megadeth - The Conjuring Exodus - Like Father Like Son or Verbal Razors Kreator - When The Sun Burns Red, Coma Of Souls or Phantom Antichrist (outro) ..next time? 😃
He busted out the old Alice In Hell by Annihilator. That whole album had superb guitar work. This video needed more Overkill, Testament, and Exodus. Great job nonetheless. Thanks mate. You made me pick up my BC Rich guitar again and blow the dust off the strings to go back and revisit some of the thrash i grew up playing...which is odd behavior for a drummer. You reminded me how fun some of these riffs are to play.
Usually in vids like these, I'm barraged with songs from obscure bands I've never even heard of, but most of the ones on this list I definitely have...yes, even Xentrix. Not gonna lie, I actually had a bit of a nerdgasm when Nuclear Winter popped up.
Был в моей молодости, лет 25 назад, самоучитель trash&speed metal - табы и соло на магнитной плëнке или для тех у кого был ПК - дискеты с забитыми под guitarRig midi😂
Man this dude is so F**in fun to watch!! Spot on 'Angel of Death'. I wish i could find this song slower to practice getting down!! Thanks brother for the video's!! \m/
Amazing playing of course. I just cannot understand how its possible to play all these riffs in a row in 1 take? Thats either extremely impressive or amazing editing. Either way amazing video and channel dude!
They aren't all in standard tuning, so he either has to change the playing or the tuning in between takes. But it is impressive nonetheless!
I think he plays in one take but changes some things like detuning or tone during post production with axe fx
Well, since the camera angle keeps changing, it can’t be one take.
there is actually a pedal that can do that@@nv_vuqar
I would assume that it's not actually plugged in and recording for the video portion. He recorded it all first then did the video so the guitar doesn't need to be in any type of tuning. Kardeşim inan ki yabancı bir gitarist sandım, bakmadan dinledim. Bir Türk olarak gurur duydum seninle. Yolun açık olsun 🇹🇷❤️🇹🇷
Hislerime tercüman olmuşsunuz.Aynen
Here's some suggestions for part 2:
S.O.D. - Kill Yourself
Rigor Mortis - Reanimator
Exumer - Possessed By Fire
Havok - Fatal Intervention
Artillery - Khomaniac
Terror 2000 - Back With Attack
Heathen - Dying Season
Exhorder - Death In Vain
Sacred Reich - Death Squad
Municipal Waste - Sadistic Magician
Vio-Lence - Eternal Nightmare
Dark Angel - Merciless Death
Slaughter - Incinerator
Tankard - Total Addiction
Onslaught - Onslaught (Power From Hell)
Angel Dust - I'll Come Back
Accuser - Master Of Disaster
Agressor - Bloody Corpse
Coroner - Absorbed
and Death Angel - Voracious Souls
Toxik count your blessings riff is sick and ultra hard to play
Sodom - Cannon Fodder
Havok 🔥🔥
Take no prisoners - Megadeth
blackened needs to get in there!
OMG that transition from immortal life to angel of death
Thrash metal cheesecake....
Bro shit was fire
the bridge of damage Inc. is my favorite metallica riff. solid choice and played with perfect tone
That's the best riff on MOP in IMO...Battery being close second...

I was going to say the same thing about Bonded By Blood. Really, they have a lot of amazing riffs that could have been chosen for this mash up.
You mean Blood for Blood by Machine Head?
@@metalslayer777Immortal Life by Bonded by Blood.
@@metalslayer777 Nope. I mean the band Bonded By Blood. If you dont know who they are (or were) you need to check them out.
Heard it yesterday in training 💪🏻
Türk ve metal hayranı birisi olarak böyle bir kanal olduğu için çok mutluyum başarılarının devamını diliyorum 👏
Dude began the video with holy wars. Ofcourse we're hooked.
Those first four Metallica albums had the sickest riffs. James really was the riff lord.
Thanks for including some Testament, probably one of the best thrash bands ever. Saw them a few years ago, absolutely brilliant 🤟😊❤️
Sins of Omission is so underrated!!
Not for me....
Agreed
Im so impressed .
Alex Skolnick is underrated guitarist
TWO by Testament and Questions by Xentrix (underrated band IMO)... I always loved the end of that song. Thanks for some deep cuts and amazing playing. Also stunning tones 🤘
xentrix was sick
Really damn good. The playing, the selection, the artists and the years they were made the world was better.
Great list. Excellent playing.
These should be called the thrash metal gospels.
That Caught in a Mosh riff is brutal 🔥 🤘
Killer video and awesome playing ! Great editing with the tabs !

That riff in Dante's Inferno is so 🔥🔥🔥!!!

Thrash is by far the best metal genre. Precision is the word! 😜
Impressive how you downtuned 1/2 step and back up again while playing without touching the tuning pegs. Amazing!
Wow, amazing video. You really surprised me with Sins of Omission, appreciate being original with the list
Damage Inc and Angel of Death are the two best.
I think the bridge riff in Battery should be on your list too! 😀
Incridable very good !
Super!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hello from St.Petersburg!

Its a good montage of classic riffs.
DRI, sepultura please. Tq.
Great picks, Sodom #1 :D
Everything is amazing here. But the audio editing is a show apart imo!! It sounds so good.
jesus that's fucking quick and clean play
