    I wouldn't go on IG for sources. Pubmed is where you look for papers. Also seed oils have been a part of traditional oils all around the world. Mustard oil is great as is sesame. What Tati said about soy being an endocrine disruptor is directly contradicted by latest research. At best, the state of the art is contradictory. Consult a doctor before cutting out major foods from your diet and making life inconvenient. I would like Tati to link all the "research" she has looked at

      Never consult a doctor for your diet and helping yourself outside standard "medicine". I had breast cancer and if I was listening the doctors, I'd be dead by now. I've done research on my own and educated myself on so many things and helped myself on my journey to health. I also cut out soy, among so many things at the beginning, but in time I realized it is not bad at all, if clean (unfortunately, we are being pushed GM O products down our throats, that is a huge problem).

      Where is soy debunked as an endocrine disrupter? It remains a MAJOR allergen and is estrogeneric. So if prone to hormone induced breast cancer- its a NO

    Tati ! Mate is a traditional Latin American drink made with "Yerba". The version you are drinking is probably TERERÉ that Is made with a sweet cold drink, instead of hot water. You can probably find all the ingredients in a local store :) In Argentina we LOOOVE Mate, hugs from Buenos Aires :)

    • @Fergieyum
      @Fergieyum 2 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Hello Tati and Azu! I think what Tati is drinking is more like the "mate cocido" similar to Mate Leao that brazilians drink. If it is, the recipe is super easy. Here in Paraguay we drink it hot, but it will also work as a sweet cold drink. We don't drink sweet Tereré tho, we only drink it with cold water and herbs we call "yuyos", but I know in some northern regions in Argentina people do. Hugs to both from Asunción! ♥♥

    I need a video on nurse-friendly makeup tips video- mask transfer, light feel but long lasting, can hold up through a few rounds of chest compressions and takes like 10ish minutes in the morning because I need all the sleep I can get when I have four 12-hour shifts in a row!
    I notice that patients and their family treat me SOOOOO much kinder when I’m wearing a bit of makeup and I do like wearing a bit of makeup myself. Yes, nutritional intake and effects will vary from person to person and thus everyone is entitled to eat what they want. Though I think it’s an unfair blanket statement to say that “soy is a [hormone-disrupting] vegetable oil”. In fact, more than 80% of the soybeans grown in the U.S., are glyphosate resistant. There are just too many factors to consider on the effects of soy and the published data still needs more thoroughness. Let’s do better and help each other get the facts and not from links thru IG 🤷🏻‍♀️. - opinion from a Biochemist & Educator.

    Been using Makeup Revolution IRL for two weeks. I’m 42, I have large pores, textured skin and oily/combo. It’s perfect for that. 1/2 pump to 1 pump is enough. Last all day. Do not need to set with powder. Don’t even have to touch up during the day with powder. Doesn’t overly dry. Looks amazing for 10 hrs. That’s the longest I’ve worn it. I’m amazed. Full coverage! I couple it with benefit porefessional lite. Bomb combo

    was not expecting the soy slander today 😂 i understand oils can be harmful to some but it's misleading to say pure soy is always bad for you. i know so many people that said they were allergic to soy from oils but then in different forms (like eating tofu or using makeup with soy milk and not processed oil) it's completely fine/good for them

      @@alyj120 it’s not realistic for companies to avoid all possible allergens. If they take the soy out for you then they’ll replace it with something else that other people will be allergic to. It’s not fair but it’s true

    • @nannoreul
      @nannoreul 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s not just a potential allergen. There have been studies done that peg it as an ENTIRE ENDOCRINE DISRUPTOR that impacts hormones, as in, for everyone. Not just an allergy thing.

    • @crystala8020
      @crystala8020 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Soy is not good for your body. Especially men! Soy breaks down into phytoestrogens in the body. Which leads to hormone levels out of balance.

    • @whitneymartinez3342
      @whitneymartinez3342 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah, there's a big difference between crap oils being put in our food and make-up (which means you're probably eating junk in general) and whole food soy products. Plenty of evidence that shows that soy products actually reduce breast cancer rates and help with menopausal symptoms. I know I've experienced this personally at 44.

      Might want to research a little deeper? Soy CAN be helpful but if it's highly processed, then nope. (e.g. soy milk, soy oil, etc. are a nope. Edamame and Tempah are ok and can be good for you.). BUT if you don't digest them well, then they are NOT good for you and don't eat them. It is a VERY important ingredient in many cultures and not at all associated with these "terrible" or "toxic" symptoms you're associating it with. There are entire cultures that eat soy every day for their entire lives and never experience these "terrible" effects you keep claiming it has. i love your beauty content tati, but making claims about the dangers of certain foods will always be more dangerous than the food itself - fear mongering around food can be extremely harmful to people with eating disorders. it's good to find the ingredients and a way of eating that work for you personally, but for many people being hyper aware of ingredients in food can be a sign of orthorexia. absolutely do what's best for you, but i don't think it's responsible to talk about things you're not qualified to talk about on your huge platform.
