Hey dagger it's not actually bad in real life running over the sugar cane crop as in Australia the cane is planted in rows like about 1m apart so the tractors wheels fit just perfect over the cane not destroying any stolls (stalk) when the cane is on return.

Many of the locomotives that are in South America are older North American locos that where retired from service and sent to South America. Locomotive have a pilot at the front and rear, some have plows mounted to the front pilot and some don't. Looks like this loco just has a pilot and no plow.
Nice video I can't be sure but I think the grass in the pit hasn't turned to chaff is because u had silage in there already so try taking it all out and then put it back in and It should turn to chaff

It can be used for plowing snow (yes, there's snow in South America), but more often, it's used as a "crash guard" helping to move debris, objects, and animals from going under the locomotive and derailing it.
Not necessarily. For light or multi-purpose duty, even a straight blade will work fine. As there is going to be less "resistance" to the sides, the snow will still move outward. The height above rail is about standard, especially for a locomotive that is used to working on the less-than-perfect track conditions of much of South America. Even in the US, most plows are kept at least 4-5 inches above the top of rail because even on really good track, you can have problems at switches and crossings where you might actually scrape the plow if it's too low. The plow/snowplow on modern locomotives are not the primary way of clearing snow from the track anyway. It's just there to clear any snow that is deep enough to cause problems. If it gets more than a few inches above the plow, the railroad is going to be sending the actual snow plows, spreaders, and flangers to clear the track.

I wonder how long it will take for someone to mod the Caweco 2Row harvester, it's twice as big but also shops twice the amount of sugarcane at once, furthermore there are already some Caweco mods for FS17 and I guess the ones who made those are likely to make this harvester as well

You can plow around field 24 to create a much bigger field after the harvest

It is a snow plow, it's just part of engine design. However, it helps to move anything on the rails.
