I've got one on its way. Thanks for the video and breakdown. I feel I should have bought the kit for best results. But for shits and giggles (what this saw is about for me) wanted to see how it comes assembled by God knows who.
Thanks again for all the info. Knowledgeable guy no doubt. Any more information you'd like to share would be sweet!

Thanks! These saws are a trust but verify kinda thing. Can't beat em' for the price. I was genuinely impressed with the accuracy of the carb when I made adjustments. Maybe I got a good one? If you need to use some good condition used OEM parts don't bat an eye and see what Ebay has to offer. IMHO trying to modify parts to work is a labor of love that's not worth ur time. Easier to wait for the mail man and a whole lot less headache. If you run into any problems feel free to reach out. 864-991-1330. Thanks Rich Flagg

@@richardflagg3084 Copy that, I just might call you up. I see Soo many different Chinese clone parts of just the 66. Are they all from the same factory etc I saw a whole kit for 200$ delivered. I hope the Neotec has slighter higher quality parts. Who knows! Thanks for all the information.

Good info, I use 'white box' Chinese parts all the time, mostly with good results.. You just have to develop the skills over time to know what you can get away with.. Great channel I've subbed.

Sounds like about the same aggravations as the farmertec.

I have one of these that's pre built. I didn't do any mods. Have about 10 tanks through it so far. Starts and runs good. Idles as it should. Nothing bad to say other than the chain tensioner is junky.

On that “knee”, part of it looks like a chain “tie” strap.

Thanks, so over all better or worse than the farmertec?

It's a damn good looking saw. Honestly about the same, which is good. Same known parts as Farmertec should be replaced in the interest of reliability. As for the piston/cylinder, It's always a crap shoot some good some not. Trust but verify

I got me an NS 372 I neo-tec clone and did a simple cylinder cleanup as well .So far ( I'm just going to say it and be done ) this Sonofabitch Rips the shit out wood. On tank 4-5 of fuel it was extremely noticable that the saw was starting to relax and break. So far I'm happy with it. Good luck, thanks.

Two videos of this saw running. Part 5 of the build series and one a few weeks later cutting some firewood.
