@@fighterinmkiwiscience3517 Excuse me? tourettes is a real condition and of course people like you say it's not because you don't understand or know what people with it go though and how it effects them.
@@RyosukeTakahashiRX7 I don't think they meant it in a mean way. People with this condition often do copy and repeat sounds if they have the verbal kind of it. When a few people with it meet they also often pick up tics from each other, a few people have talked about experiencing this.
This is why I stopped posting about my Tourette’s and other disorders online tbh. So many people get accused of faking it. EVERY single friend of mine in the community who is open about it has been told they are faking it online, or even straight to their faces. It only happened to me a few times, but it was enough to create a deep rooted fear of being doubted, shamed, bullied, and judged. Having tourettes is hard enough on its own. Many of us struggle with anxiety and feelings of embarrassment, the last thing we need is people reinforcing these fears. It’s so stressful, painful, and sometimes isolating. For those with Tourette's, I discovered whistling a song or singing a song for the whole hour works. Humming works too. Much better than colossal yelling at the top of my lungs repeatedly. Whistling doesn't annoy everyone around me. Never expect people to be kind and understanding; our tics bring out their true colors. Tics are just normal to us. Baylen and Rachel are just normal to us. Putting a Brach's Star Brite Peppermint candy between my back molars to create the perfect sized space so the nerves aren't pinched in my TMJ connecting my jaw to my skull greatly reduces the severity of my tics. My physical tics are also colossal and I easily pull muscles. With the candy between my back teeth the physical tics are tiny. You don't have to bite on the candy. Just create the space and move the bottom jaw forward a little. Experiment- we are all different. I tried a custom built mouth piece but don't like wearing it. Candy is easier. Even a pen or pencil put crossways in your mouth so it is sticking out both sides and separating your molars can help. Baclofen helps a little and doesn't make you a zombie; just a little dumber. Doctors aren't aware of the methods I listed to control tics and disappointingly I found they could care less; no money in it for them.
I honestly don't know why people say it's not possible to tell if someone is faking Torrette's. Imagine that you show some random, untrained person the most complex solo ballet ever spontaneously performed, by the most precise ballerina who ever lived - then you tell them you'll give them a million dollars, tax free, if they perform it perfectly, at 3x speed. And that person gives it a truly committed effort . All you'll still see is a person doing their damnedest imitation and looking like they wildin. How would Gertrude, a random passerby, look over and know that that person is not a ballerina? I imagine it would be the trying to figure out moves, and maybe if Gertrude came a bit closer and observed a little longer, the *effort random person was putting into it. Nature is that spontaneous, precision ballerina, and fakers are that wildly choreographing person. It's not about the types, severity, or frequency of tics, as those are as varied as humans ourselves; it's about watching closely. This is not advocating bullying people. Even if you notice or know as fact that someone is faking, it's still not your place or right to harass them about it. Leave any eventual reckoning to the medical community and those with the condition and their families. Peace to everyone.
I hesitate to say this because I don't want to sound like I am trivializing her disorder. It's very serious, and as she discussed, put her in a wheelchair. That said, her tics are kind of adorable 🥰
🙄😬 still not cool at all to say her tics are adorable-adorable things don’t put you in wheelchairs & bring you pain & struggle. Shoulda just stopped typing after your second sentence 🤦
_Good for you to push through the drama. It's crazy that some people actually do fake these things, but I believe you_ 🙏 One of my favorite rappers of all time, Kydd, has the same issue and I didn't even realize it until he mentioned it the other day during a livestream _(he has subtle ticks but can rap nonstop for minutes on end like it helps somehow)._ He's underrated but has a few vids with a million views, so hopefully that gives somebody some inspiration.✌
so weird how a bunch could believe the other tiktoker who was so obviously faking her condition but when this girl ACTUALLY has it, no one wants to believe her. it's really upsetting. I hope people can be more educated about this syndrome and be more caring towards people who have it:/
I know it's not easy because day-to-day life can be challenging sometimes but I hope that she can manage everything and I hope people don't judge her for who she is but her personality because we all come in different ways and having this connection it is not easy on anyone
Thank you for bringing awareness to tics. I have really bad anxiety tics and I hate going out in public because I’ll flip people off, say hello to them repeatedly, try to touch their hair if it’s long, etc and it’s incredibly embarrassing. Seeing other people experiencing the same things makes me feel less alone.
no one wants to take ticks, if you develope them for real and experience that you can't stop them , when you feel the build up, many would think again. Those who are not in her body or walking a day in her shoes, and give yourselves permission to say it is fake, show me your proof that it's fake? if you can do that, then your comment will be valid!
People who matter to you, who care about you, don't think you are faking that illness - people, who think you are faking it, should NOT matter to you. Do not give such people an inch of space in your life

There will be decades of research on the current trend of misdiagnosis of mental and gender related issues due to the influence of social media on young peoples minds. This is like the early days of questioning the negative effects of cigarette smoke. We all have some idea that its bad but we have no idea yet how bad it really is.
This is a direct result of the dementing of modern culture, through woke coercion and manipulation, where success is defined by an individual's merit, skill, talent, and tenacity; devolving into a society where victimhood determines your status.

Saying it's fake and justify yourself saying that people who fakes illness harms people who actually are ill it's not an excuse. Obviously, probably there are people who fake it for fame but accusing everyone of being fake it's harmful for the people who suffer from this because they may feel that no ones will believe them and then it will be more difficult to ask for help. Not only with Tourette's syndrome but also with mental disorders
i have fnd too! its crazy seeing other ppl that have it since its so rare 💗
You are an amazingly strong young woman. You're destined for great things and you're making a difference. Best Wishes and Great Blessings for your life! 🥰

you're strong, beautiful, and kind... what more can anyone ask for 😍
@Life with pets omg 10!! I adopted 3 and it’s (good) chaos here haha. That’s great what you do, thank you for your service to keeping our furry friends healthy!!!
Much love to you dear...
Praying for your success. Go forth and be great
For those with Tourette's, I discovered whistling a song or singing a song for the whole hour works.
Ayyy my girl! I follow like 20 people on TikTok if even and she’s one of the first ones I followed. I love her.
PLEASE don't call peoples tics adorable. - A person with tics
Saying “I’m not trivializing her disorder” doesn’t mean you aren’t trivializing our disorder.
_Good for you to push through the drama. It's crazy that some people actually do fake these things, but I believe you_ 🙏
One of my favorite rappers of all time, Kydd, has the same issue and I didn't even realize it until he mentioned it the other day during a livestream _(he has subtle ticks but can rap nonstop for minutes on end like it helps somehow)._
He's underrated but has a few vids with a million views, so hopefully that gives somebody some inspiration.✌
Nice to see here here on TH-cam. I've actually followed here on Tiktok a while now and I always am happy to see here.
so weird how a bunch could believe the other tiktoker who was so obviously faking her condition but when this girl ACTUALLY has it, no one wants to believe her. it's really upsetting. I hope people can be more educated about this syndrome and be more caring towards people who have it:/
YEAAA PROUD OF YOU ZARA
I've met people with tourrettes, I admire you greatly. You are a beautiful, strong young lady. 💪
My Swiss Stepson suddenly lost his condition in his late teens, and it's never returned! 💪👌😍 I wish the same for you sweetheart! 🙏👍😘
swiss stepson ?
@@Candicedickinsonllc YES! I married his divorced father ... you don't mind do you? 😁🤣
Then seek a doctor 🤦🏾♂️
I like how they are interviewing Zara I find that cool because I really like her tiktok videos. 😎😎😎😊😊😊
She is so cute🤍
Love you Zara! 💜
great interview 😁👍
I had a ex friend who faked tic and I knew she faked them, so I feel really bad for Zara or people like her who use there issue for fun
I have autism and anxiety and get told I’m faking it but I’m not
i have both of them as well and 2 other things and sorry you get told your faking it
I think ur fabulous. Thank u for letting ppl c ur struggles w the disease. I think u rock. God bless.
her whistle is the best!! ♥️♥️😘
no one wants to take ticks, if you develope them for real and experience that you can't stop them , when you feel the build up, many would think again. Those who are not in her body or walking a day in her shoes, and give yourselves permission to say it is fake, show me your proof that it's fake? if you can do that, then your comment will be valid!
Is that Zara Beth? I love her channel
So this is why twitter is the most hated social media ever.
God bless you.You will fight it and win it.I know it.❤❤❤
People who matter to you, who care about you, don't think you are faking that illness - people, who think you are faking it, should NOT matter to you. Do not give such people an inch of space in your life
everyone is unique
Don't understand why people judge other people when they're not the ones walking in that person's shoes
OMG ZARA IS ON TRULY
My brother has tourettes, and its real!!!

God Bless her sweet heart!!
She's not faking it. I can totally tell

You are inspiration ❤️ is there medication to help flare ups?? I seen friend of my stepdad back in 80s he had tiks, however back in 80s I didn't know anything about it. I knew it was something he had and he couldn't control but it never bothered me. He had more facial tiks
She is so beautiful inside and out and amazing inspiring remarkable and so special amazing queen queen and so strong passionate loving caring loving and so sweet xoxo 😘 love her proud of her of everything strength and strong and courage and so brave encouragement xoxo 😘
She has a great friend ♥️♥️
She's so beautiful ❤️ don't matter her tourette 😊
off topic but omg she's so beautiful
