I wouldn’t be doing this haha. Especially going up to bolt them together. Whew that was high. Great job. I’m excited for you. Seeing Goose wanting to play while your working had me laughing lol
No clue but glad you had your dad with you because two heads are always better than one when it comes to problem solving!! Your dad is a very smart man with loads of experience and the two of you work awesome together! Can’t wait to see the roof on and inside your shop!!! God bless!!❤️🥰🙏🏻🍁🇨🇦
Mine is in my initial post. I knew what you were doing was NOT going to work. You should have mounted a ledger board to help rest them into the correct height
I love your Dad. You are just like him Laid back and so easy going. Nothing is ever a problem for either one of you two. Love you all. Hope the container turns out how you want it. ❤😊
So happy your dad came up to help you out. You never would've gotten it done all by yourself. Hopefully the rest went much smoother once you figured out the best way to do it.
Getting’Er done Crandall that’s the main thing, it might be a learning curve but you and your Dad look like your up for anything, truly proud of you both🙏💙💙 It’s gonna be amazing and making great memories with your Dad to boot , good for you Crandall, you should be very proud!!!👏🏻 I always look forward to seeing you accomplish what you set your mind too !
I have to say I was holding my breath a few times when you started. And I am happy you put Goose inside the house. I worried about him being close if something happened to a truss! Now, please when you are up that high you need a safety belt on. It takes only ONE misstep. I am so Thankful you have your Dad working with you, two great minds to figure tough problems out! 🤗🤗💞💞💙💙
also I never realized how much Maverick looks like his grandpa , until I saw grandpa with a knit hat on. Wow! Maverick will be his grandpas twin for sure! Brains included. lol what an honor for Maverick !
Awesome shop build! I couldn't help but think while watching why not just install each arm first then bolt the peaks together at the end. But I'm just an armchair observer too. Lol. Love watching your lives and all the stuff Eldridge family! Great money saving self sufficient bartering lifestyle. Excellent drone shots too!
Lol the only thing I could focus on is Goose wanting someone to throw his toy, lol. He would bring it closer and closer to you two, funny. Great team work, for sure. Your dad and you work very well together. I'm impressed. Please be careful both of you. Can't wait for the next one
Crandall, you and your dad and never give up. You problem solve the situation until you find a solution, no arguments, it is amazing to watch. I love the transformation already. You can see your vision coming to life! Congratulations on getting this far.
LOL Crandall, the gate and the shop trusses are nothing like I was picturing. I can't even explain what was in my mind. It's a good thing that you're the designer/laborer, and I'm just a spectator. You'll live longer that way, hahahaha. Great job today, to Papa and you! This is really fun to watch.
You and your dad are so determined it’s brilliant to see you working together and to know you and maverick will be the same… look how far you got today just the two of you…❤
Crandall, can't wait for part 2! Really enjoyed your video. That's awesome you have your Dad there to help you! Gonna be very cold today and below freezing. Stay safe and warm out there!
I'm glad that you and your Dad figured out the best way to assemble the trusses by going slow like you both did. Sometimes we don't think things through before the project is even started but both of you together used the trial runs before really doing the job. Your Dad's help is very much appreciated by you, Crandall as I can see. Goose also was wanting to help by giving both of you a chance to take a break from the hard work by playing the "throw my toy so I can show both of you just how good I am" game. The drone footage was awesome too.
That looks crazy but it's coming along!! You and your dad work well together!! Are you going to do a little welding on the uprights for extra security? Goose was so funny trying to get your attention!
Oh my word!! Y'all were exciting to watch and loved the problem solving as they came up. But, the height scared me. Great video with you and your Dad. Stay safe, and i know it's going to be awesome.
I can see where you get your spark, you dad is very uplifting. Was thinking as I start to watch from the drone down here. To bad you did not have these rafters put together on the ground ahead of time. Then today you would have only had to lift them and attach. Watching on, good luck....🤞
So good to see you NOT give in to a $500 shipping rate for that beam. People's prices today are ridiculous and more and more people need to avoid giving into businesses like that. Great content
Definitely one side at a time, have all holes drilled n hardware ready. Do the ends first the middle then in-between the middle or the thing might tip over best of luck❣️🙏🏼🤞🏼
You should have poured an entire pad big enough to set the containers on and have your shop floor then ypu wouldn't have had to worry about leveling the containers as much then added trusses you could have added support in the concrete in front i doubt those trusses are going to last long seeing as the ground will settle over time making it all sink from the weight which you dont have distributed evenly
Can ya weld the peak of the cross beams after you get them all up for extra support so it's not just that bolt at center of the beams? I heard your concern as I was thinking same thing as ya were attaching that 1st one
Hate me and come at me if you want like last time TH-cam commenters and bullies to the point i deleted my QUESTION it’s ok with me……..but omg little maverick is just like his poppa and daddy in so many ways .. his thinking and his explanations… I never could pin point it before but now after watching his poppa again I am sure he is his poppas mini just by the way he loves to help Crandall it’s so adorable and I love it… the brains and brauns run deep in this family’s genes ❤❤ can’t wait for more content❤❤❤
@@secretlady387-MISTICLADY awe thank you … I got so much hate for a question I asked that i deleted it and all replies because of it being so hateful and mean and your comment made me feel at peace fir the first time in a long time of comments that have been deleted for fear of hateful replies or reactions for simple questions 🥰
That was a very cute video that was really to bad it was cold outside I am so glad your dad has time to help you with the shop the first try was a bummer for the trusses to go up to bad at the time you and your dad could use another person but I am glad you guys finally found a way to get them up there goose was being cute and just wanting to play hopefully now it will get easier to put them up and be like you want them that is great you sold the other trusses you didn’t need it sounds like you are going through a lot of batteries you and your dad are making memories Crandall I hope you and your dad can get a lot done on the shop hopefully Marci and Maverick and Harvey and Paxtyn had a great day I hope all of you had a great lunch and it was delicious I really enjoyed the video I can hardly wait for the next video thank you for the video and your guys time I hope you and your family had a great night and weekend thanks again ❤
Hi kids! Hi Crandall s dad. I bet it was hard for Maverick to stay in the house while you and Grandpa were outside working. I thought your buddy was coming over too? Hayden maybe? Not sure of the name. This sure looks a lot harder than you thought. I’m sorry bout that. Looking forward to part 2. Thank you❤
Just a thought, admitted im no engineer. Im thinking that there should be beams welded to the containers to keep them from slipping/shifting apart. That would be catastrophic if a car/ equipment bumped one container.
Wow that was scary for a second when the beam fell. I automatically counted people and dog! Construction just like any job can have its fails and uh oh's. I'd say that was an uh oh. Nobody was injured and back to work you go. I'd draw a line that the kids cannot cross. I loved watching construction on our road or neighbours doing construction or landscaping. I still enjoy watching these things.
Just a curious question about the drone footage. Does it really need to be that high?? Could it hover just a little lower so its easier to see what your doing??? Not complaining just curious.
Crandall’s Dad, please start TH-cam and post your airplane builds/maintenance/repairs and flights. I work with some retired flightline mechanics and their stories never cease to amaze me, especially the engine guys and gals. Please. 😀✈️🛩️🛫🛬. Best of luck to you both with the roof build. Please keep Goose in the house.
There was a learning curve to this project! How would you have done it?
I wouldn’t be doing this haha. Especially going up to bolt them together. Whew that was high. Great job. I’m excited for you. Seeing Goose wanting to play while your working had me laughing lol
Y'all did GREAT 👍!!! Love seeing You and Your Dad working together!!!

I think I would have just built a regular workshop...lol

You and your dad work so well together ❤❤❤

I really love seeing your Dad on your videos, he is so at ease behind the camera and so funny ❤
I love how , in spite you and your dad trying to problem solve, Goose is determined you are going to play fetch with him!😂!!!
I don’t love it! Goose could so easily get hurt or killed. Put him in the house out of dangers way.
Whew! Glad you had your dad there! God bless you, keeping you safe, and able! ☺👍❤

Just want to say i love seeing you and your dad working together so great!
How exciting, I can't wait for part 2. You and your Dad are an awesome team! 🏗
Goose was really funny. Fun to watch you and your dad strategizing on lifting those structures.
Loving the drone shots AND your Dad's commentary! You're an amazing team!
That looks crazy but it's coming along!! You and your dad work well together!! Are you going to do a little welding on the uprights for extra security? Goose was so funny trying to get your attention!
Great job you two 👍 👍 I can't wait to see it tomorrow. Crandel you and your dad are so gifted in your knowledge. Great video.
Those trusses are looking good up there! I'm looking forward to seeing them all up. Your dad does a great video job, too. He's a natural! 💖💖💖

Looking good! It's good that you were able to sell those other trusses, even at a loss.
How exciting, love the drone footage and you and your dad are doing an awesome job.

Put a support bar on it and pick up on the support bar. Until you get it standard, then you can take the support bar off.
❤❤❤❤❤❤thanks to your dad for helping. I think its in the teens here in central arkansas😊
Glad your dad was there to help you. Good luck❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Having your dad there is awesome. Nice having a second opinion to troubleshoot.
Suggestion metal post beside the buildings would have gave you support and something to connect to. Go look at another metal building
I love Goose. He is so well trained and loves to fetch.
Hi guys! Good luck!
Looks good. Glad you figured it out. Anyone who can build airplanes can pretty much do anything. ❤❤
be safe guys!! love you all.
I'm glad to see you and your dad working on this project together!
Hello Family,,,Crandall I Know that You Are So Happy & Excited 😊😆
Yes we are so excited! This is going to be an amazing shop!
Goose needs one of those automatic ball throwers😂😂😂🎾🎾🎾🎾
Making me nervous watching 😮 looking good, congrats
I love it when your dad is on Crandall, was awesome seeing you both work things out together.
Wow, you guys can do anything.
Definitely one side at a time, have all holes drilled n hardware ready. Do the ends first the middle then in-between the middle or the thing might tip over best of luck❣️🙏🏼🤞🏼
Good Job 👍👌 Crandall & Dad!😊
It was funny goose thought you were out there to play with him 😆😆
Poor Goosy, all he wants to do is play 😂 can’t wait for the next video to see all that you’ve got done! Good luck to you and your dad😊
Crandall, you're amazing. Just needed to says that right off. I usually watch via TV, therefore I can't make a comment. But this is such fun learning.

Big shout out to Crandalls dad for helping him!
Good job. Be safe.
Your pup was so cute ❤
I love your dad.
Wish you and your dad were miked up so we could hear what you are both doing!👍👍
Aww. I want to throw Goose’s toy with him. My dog does the same thing. ❤🐾
Would it not be easier to weld a strong straight piece of metal in the center to make like a triangle to strengthen the trellises?
hi
go guys u r doin great🎉
Love to see progress ❤
You should have poured an entire pad big enough to set the containers on and have your shop floor then ypu wouldn't have had to worry about leveling the containers as much then added trusses you could have added support in the concrete in front i doubt those trusses are going to last long seeing as the ground will settle over time making it all sink from the weight which you dont have distributed evenly

I’m halfway and scared to death! Please don’t get hurt 😮
Don't you wish everyone could be as happy as Goose?
Any human that happy is on medication. Joking.
Looking well ❤😊

would it be better if you put the first ones in the middle and then work out from both sides?
I can’t wait to see how far you get today!
Great team work guys. Crandall u need a construction apron. To hold your tools and the hardware. Much more efficient and easier
The storage container will always be settling with it not being on a slab.
